PL charge City for alleged breaches of financial rules

the funny thing with these charges is all the idiots have assumed we are guilty based on the fact that we won but we werent united or liverpool, that is the entire basis of their reasoning for us being guilty, ask them, ask any of them what makes you think we are guilty and that is all they have, the fact that we couldnt possibly beat their beloved teams by just being better, we had to be cheating, what they cant get through their myopic minds is that by their own reasoning any club that is succesful that wasnt their must by their own reasoning have been cheating.

The Asterix should be used according to a lot for each title we have won, when the truth is there is only 1 recent title that will always have an asterix at side of it is when them cunts won it in covid

Do people honestly think aftercwe are found with fuck all against us the panel are still going to charge us with something. Our top notch legal team and Khaldoon will wipe the fucking floor with them
The club has already been charged.

The idea that the PL don’t have a top notch legal team is laughable. They have Adam Lewis acting for them. It will simply come down to what the PL can present and/or what the club can put forward.

Choosing to believe that this will be some of the charges being thrown out over lack of evidence.

It obviously can't be a guilty verdict on any of them, not when the trial is so far away.

I guess realistically it can be a negotiated deal (good for us), dropped charges (excellent for us, but very unlikely), or an agreed timetable for resolution (neutral, but most likely).

Yeah, as a few people have pointed out, relatively speaking any PL football team, and the PL themselves, can and do afford the very best legal representation as it's peanuts compared to what they're paying players.

Smells of bollocks.

"Telegraph Sport understands there will be developments as early as next week, although precisely what is unclear. Neither side has been prepared to discuss any part of the case. As per the published written reasons in Everton’s profit and sustainability rules (PSR) case last year, submissions and arguments are likely to be made regularly by both sides in the City case.

The case is being heard by an independent commission, appointed by Murray Rosen KC, the chair of the Premier League’s judicial panel, which will announce its decision to both parties on the proposed date. All independent commission decisions are announced on the Premier League website, as per the league’s rules. Both sides – City and the Premier League - are likely to be notified before the ruling is published, although how much notice parties are given is never disclosed."

if people think they will stitch us up,or get swayed by the media,do you really think our side will let them look at anything but the facts, if there is a stitch up we will appeal it, it will be fair and based on facts, its how kcs work, facts, facts and only facts
True - but that will be the second or third hurdle - the first will be a lay panel and that may well be swayed by the wait of opinion and PL expedience.

I’m hoping that some sort of compromise has been reached whereby we take a smallish hit for none cooperation or something, just like CAS. Whilst it’s been fun for our enemies to smear City at every occasion it’s now proving a shitshow for the EPL with possible catastrophic consequences, I would guess it’s in everyones interest to draw a line under this. If we get hammered then we appeal and the whole process drags on.
