I got a feeling some positive news will be coming our way soon as you usually get a trickle of blown up non stories like this that precede them, almost like a transfer you know is nailed on and there are a few stories that the player is off elsewhere.

It is not a non-story when the Head of UEFA accuses the current UEFA Champions of being cheats. This will be everywhere tomorrow. Ceferin's quote has been exaggerated but he still said it didn't he? You can't blame the Telegraph reporter for doing his job.

He's pissing on us actually. Caferin is the Head of European football and is publically accusing City of cheating. We are the current Champions of Europe and we were cleared by an independent court. No, like I said he couldn’t have done that as that’s an injection into the balance sheet, rather than the P&L. If he had a need to raise our revenue the p&l and didn’t have sponsors that could really afford to, that’s why he would do it.

Given we had contracts in place that Uefa themselves deemed fair value, the benefit of him paying it if he did wouldn’t have really been to us, it would be to the sponsors. That’s what doesn’t really make sense.
