PL charge City for alleged breaches of financial rules

Well, thank you. Just never forget that I am often wrong :)
You’re one of the key contributers to this forum. I appreciate and respect your views alongside all the other top guys. In my opinion it helps keep us all sane during this unprecedented attack on our wonderful club and fans.
It may have galvanised Pep if what I’m reading is correct. I read that he has thrown his support to the club even if we are relegated 6 divisions. That is immense if true. Imagine Pep as our manager in the national league.

I see the Gobshite from the Liverpool Agenda as posted another lot of shite, there all jumping on the bandwagon.
We simply have to ignore them. Stop giving them oxygen. It doesn't help our fans to engage with these people. Let them spout lies and let them slip deeper into their own echo chamber. It'll make it all the sweeter when judgement day does finally arrive. When you see through the screeching and the false claims that they don't care about City, you see a shallow and insecure body of people who have mentally been destroyed by City these last 12 years. One bloke on X was even honest enough to admit that he is mentally preparing for City to be exonerated because he wouldn't be able to cope otherwise. That is the true effect of real power and influence exercised by the custodians of City. The other half to the beauty behind our success is what it has done to our enemies. Don't give them the satisfaction a narcissist craves. City are Penelope Pitstop, our detractors are Dick Dastardly. City fans need to be Muttley.

Ok we all talk about the damage it could do to the club if found guilty, But what will it mean to Pep and the player's Reputations, The damage to the image of the best Manager in the world PEP, We knew he could not win titles and cups without cheating its all fake, Peps a fake

How can EPL and FA look Pep in the eyes and say sorry it all counts for nothing, Pep changed English football and put England back on the world stage with players so technically gifted that they can play anywhere on the pitch,

I even think it could damage English football, Sponsorship deals, media, and TV rights, and The whole of the Premier League will be darkened and this has never been mentioned, Yes if we are found guilty then I also question why has it taken so look to deal with it and why NOW after the best season any English club has archived in football,
I think you make some really important points here. We tend to look at it from a fan's perspective which is understandable. But to tarnish the reputation of the most outstanding manager of our time and some of the greatest players of the modern era Ian unforgivable by-product of this hateful campaign against us. By association it diminishes the outstanding strategic management achievements made by our club in an industry which is reknowed for business and managerial failure.

Thanks yet again for explaining this, PB. It's years back now that so many City supporters swallowed the "no smoke without fire" philosophy in the run up to the CAS hearing. How depressing that there are still those who think we must have done something or why are we accused now of 115 offences. The scales of justice, eh! But then again, like a true Liverpool fan despite any evidence at all Ceferin "just knows" UEFA was right and CAS was wrong. And as he doesn't tire of pointing out, he was a"trial lawyer for twenty five years". God help us.
The spliced email tells me all we need to know about how right uefa were.
Strange thing to do if you have a ‘concrete’ case.

Everyone knows Etihad are an airline in the Middle East because of their association with City. Nobody would have had a clue who they were before 2009, so their sponsorship of the stadium and shirt has been a rip roaring success for their part. City get £67.5 million a year whilst Arsenal get £50 million from Emirates, let’s highlight this as Arsenal who have never won the champions league, haven’t won the Premier League in two decades and don’t consistently qualify for the Champions league like City do. Not to mention the 7 Premier League titles since 2012 City have won. Looking at that it’s by far market value, if someone buys a football team why can’t a relation to that person sponsor it?
Etihad's revenues rose from $2bn to $9bn between 2009 and 2015.

Manager and players have done fuck all wrong regardless of the outcome.
They’ve won everything playing fairly and no cheating has gone on on the pitch where it fucking matters.
Same for us fans, we’ve done nothing but support the team through thick and thin.

Nothing can ever tarnish any of it for me.

The rules have been brought in to try and stop us but failed miserably and because they couldn’t cope with how well run we are.

If anyone suggests that Pep and the eleven players on the pitch cheated to win things, then they're being ridiculous.

When United had twice the revenue of Arsenal in 1999, did their treble mean nothing?

There are fans of Liverpool and United, calling City cheats, despite them having the same levels of revenue City have.

Whatever happens about the sources of that money over a decade ago, there is absolutely no way that anyone can legitimately suggest their team was someone cheated out of titles. It makes absolutely no sense.

Just a hypothetical question.

If we were found guilty of the most serious charge(s) and had the book thrown at us, with it very clear what they had on us is real, what would you think about those at fault?
