PL charge City for alleged breaches of financial rules

Not actually what SR's numbers say. Or mine. They will fail unless they have a £150m non-football intra group transfer (Women's team or property). I think Keiran does mean Chelsea but I'm inclined to think they have played the game well on permitted intra group transfers to balance the PSR position. Certainly at the operating line they will lose over £200m again
Yes, the numbers are based on his assumptions and we don't know if these are correct or the PL will accept them. He doesn't think UEFA will accept some of their claimed allowances, so they could meet PSR but fail FFP.

When we set up the two subsidiary companies, City Football Services and City Football Marketing, I recall UEFA changed FFP to expand the 'reporting perimeter' so those two entities were included in our FFP assessment. The (presumed) purpose was to ensure we couldn't 'hide' any expenses outside MCFC Limited. However the two companies were cross-charging City and the other CFG clubs for their services so there was a contra-entry, meaning if City paid CFS £1m, that would also be revenue in CFS's accounts so would balance out.

UEFA also said as part of the 2014 settlement that any intra-group transactions would be discounted. If Chelsea have sold assets to group companies then UEFA will presumably disqualify these. That begs the question that if they submit accounts for PSR that they know are incorrect for FFP purposes, are they at risk of being accused of misreporting their finances under PL rules?

Just listened to Stefan on Talkshite. Bit about the 115 at the end. Jordan is dying for us to get found guilty. He says we have a case to answer but doesn’t expand on that. Calls us state owned again but doesn’t get picked up on that.
I think Stefan did a great sidestep when Simon asked him what he’s heard.

I may be reading too much into it, but Simon seemed quite confident in saying he thinks we will get done.

I’m guessing Simon has spoken to his friend Daniel Levy about this and I’d be surprised if the PL aren’t briefing the red cartel and their little friend Tottenham.
But I’m probably just paranoid.

He is a prick for continually calling us state owned.

On a separate rant.
He seems to forget while at Palace he pumped his money (all of it) into them, buying Palace out of the championship and into the premier league.
Without his money they wouldn’t have been promoted. Yet he says we distort the market and we buy success.
He's nothing more than a hypocrite.

his real full name is Anaiel Dildo Levy

Are all these local newspapers owned by the same group? Very similar headlines in (I think) the Birmingham Mail and the Liverpool Echo. The only thing materially different are the names of the clubs!
I believe so.
MEN is them too I think.

There flagship is the mirror and the assistant editor and sports writer is Darren Lewis.
He used to be on talkshite a bit.
Comes across as an obnoxious prat and of course he’s a Liverpool fan.
Always slagged city off when he was on talkshite.

My thoughts are he’s a big part as to why all these shitty little regional papers go after us.

Reach PLC is basically a mouthpiece for the 3 Red Cartel clubs.

Reach plc (known as Trinity Mirrorbetween 1999 and 2018) is a British newspaper, magazine and digitalpublisher. It is one of the UK's biggest newspaper groups, publishing 240 regional papers in addition to the national Daily Mirror, Sunday Mirror, The Sunday People, Daily Express, Sunday Express, Daily Star, etc.

Yes, Reach PLC
It was the headline of "verdict delivered" that drew me back to this thread
I'm looking forward to a similar raft of similarly worded newspaper headlines from around the regions when 'The Wembley of the North' is completed across town, with each of those headlines following the same pattern, as in:

"Completion of ManU's new 'Wembley of the North' stadium gives hope to Grimsby Town* for its own 'Wembley of Cleethorpes'.."

(* substitute here any other club looking to con.. sorry, looking for taxpayer's benificent help to replace it's ageing, falling apart ground, eg 'The Wembley of Swindon', 'The Wembley of Colchester', 'The Wembley of the Yorkshire Dales'..)

I mean, if it's good enough for the Red Filth, why not for every other club in the country? Think of the boost to every local, regional economy when such projects are underway.. it's a doozie, a no-brainer!!
