PL charge City for alleged breaches of financial rules

Surely the PL investigation prejudices any criminal investigation or certainly any court proceedings and in any event that would take priority plus I know it’s a different burden of proof but I don’t see how it can look right getting done on one and off on the other so to my mind the Criminal would happen first not last
OJ Simpson says hi

Can't say I follow all the arguments re Mancini being paid off the books, or disguised investment. However it seems to be very minor league stuff, compared to getting special dispensation for £75M due to COVID/ shit owners? Or getting PL games called off cos you've your zebra pants on?

Or perhaps being owned by an oligarch with huge links to Putin? Or bankrolled by blood diamonds? Or fluking financial regulation through non existent ground studies?

Yet were the crooks?!?

I can't believe that people are in a panic over something Simon fucking Jordan of all people has said...

Give your head a wobble lads.

It does seem that the general mood around the charges seems to have taken a turn for the worse for us over recent weeks.

Always asked that question about someone when I was interviewing them for a job.

Would I go for a pint with them?

It wasn’t the be all and end all, but it was important to me; in terms of our professional relationship.

Subjectively, I think it can be a worthwhile test of someone’s character and personality.

So I asked the question for a reason.

I'd take Jordan for a drink.

No it hasn't. It's just nerves talking.

There is nothing in the public domain in the last twelves months that should have changed anyone's opinion on anything. It's irrational. Forget it.

If we are genuinely found guilty, I'll be extemely disappointed in the club. I've always felt the club was operated correctly.

Did we use money to get to where we are? Yes, it played a big part but also because the club had made good decisions with that money. If we find out we broke so many rules along the way, that would be shameful.

Let's be honest, if this was United, we would be tearing into them non-stop. So we can't really expect to be call anything other than cheaters if we are guilty, because we would do exactly the same, let's not pretend otherwise

Not sure how I'll feel about supporting any longer if it emerges we won that we did while not playing by the rules.

I support the team on the pitch.

Financials mean nothing to me. Football is corrupt all the way up to FIFA. I dont care about transfer fees or wages as its not my money.

Tbf if ethics were ever a real problem, you should have jumped ship once the UAE consortium took over.

If we're found guilty, then it's whatever and ill move forward with it. You still have to go out and win those games. United have proved high expenditure only gets you so far.

Can't be said enough. There is literally nothing of note from the review that has been made public knowledge. There's nothing to go off and any nervousness is self inflicted

You never asked me this when you interviewed me for that chief make-up artist role?

That’s not strictly true. Nobody has ever been allowed to commit criminal fraud in football. It’s always been against the law, never mind against football rules in the last 15 years.

A lot of these charges are not simple FFP/PSR issues. If we’re found guilty of the certain accusations as part of the charges, criminal proceedings may follow because it will have been criminal fraud that’s taken place, and not just for people at City.
Bag of worms, me thinks. There'd be negotiating if proven. Khaldoon would take a lot down with him.

yeah you're probably right mate

Was on a comedown from a psychedelic trip when I got all moral about the charges

City til I die!!! Fuck the FA, corrupt bastards

It's all coming out today. What is the ethical problem with the club being owned by an Emirati?

Take your time.

I'm not saying this has ever been a sticking point to me. My phone is made via slave labor and I probably buy a shit ton of stuff that's tied to some type of international evil as well, but im not going to claim the UAE is some glorious haven of democracy just because one of their higher-ups bankrolled us winning the Champions League.

It's funny how the Premier League, Sorry United want to fuck us over for cheating ? United do their cheating in the open and in clear daylight and nobody blinks an eye, The latest Cheating was the £75million in allowances when PSR was breached,

Manchester City must blow the whole system wide open to have any chance of winning, Let's start fighting back and calling them out, For a start nobody else got that amount of allowances and even other clubs got turned down for adding anything over £2million,

Also, Why has nobody bought up the rising debt? that under the rules should be reduced over 3 years,
plus annual losses over 3 years is a breach, Now, Why has the Premier League not opened a case against United because of failing Uefa FFP and false accounting found.

Nothing is ever going to change until Manchester City blow the fucking doors off the whole system

Agree with your point - apart from the problem ethic-wise about being taken over by the UAE consortium

They have been a breath of fresh air in Manchester & envisaged the damage the cartel were going to do to the PL. They’re the only owners with the guts to challenge the red cartel.

I very much doubt Levy will know anything. He's probably just as much of a city hating mardarse as Jordan is. Football is a very small community you're right and it seems it consists of the red cartel and the nonce Levy.
If we was in the shit then every tabloid would be shouting it from the rooftops. As there is nothing I'd say the ball is in our court.

Let’s not forget the **** works for a convicted insider trader.
