I think lying is wrong. Calmly saying "hey, all the evidence suggests that this guy is lying to you" is not 'getting worked up' about anything. If you want to present me as being worked up and irrational, fine, but I'm not.

If you choose to believe that he is exclusively here to entertain you then of course you are entitled to believe that. But that doesn't come from anything he has ever done or said. It comes from other posters.

For me, I would have appreciated an update from Tolmie saying that video, it was bullshit, or just a random video he was posting, at some point during the day when it was obvious it was all snowballing. I dont think thats too much to ask. Maybe he was too busy.

After I saw his post, I went to utd fans I know at work and told them it might be today they can find out how much bollocks they talk, I told me bro it might be today that this crap all ends..... More fool me! All my own fault obvs because the last person you should trust is someone on the internet. I'v fallen for gossip and certainly wont do so again. I need to double down on my belief that everything on the internet is bollocks that just snowballs.

This bring down the quality and reliability of the information. However, it could be right, it could be wrong (even though it has been passed on in good faith).

Does this person post it on the forum, they don’t have much too lose and appreciate fellow blues wanting to know.

Tolmie has created a reputation of knowing things as he has been first/ right on things. He has also been wrong or situations have changed.

But in general expecting Tolmie to be right all the time is only going to disappoint.

For me, I saw the elbow video and probably did check the internet more to see if anything did get announced, as it was plausible to me he had heard something.

But I didn’t expect or indeed surprised he didn’t, it dropping would have been more of a surprise.

So anyone getting upset needs to give their head a wobble, the same as if took legal advice for on a forum and where upset when it doesn’t hold up.

It will drop one day, but could be a couple of months yet.

Shame the football can’t keep us interested in the meantime.

Tolmie posts a video without saying anything & people are going off by claiming he'd misled them, when it was what they had interpreted.

The problem that we have is we now live in a world where people want to make money off second hand information passing it off as their own, with Romano being a prime example.

I thought that too. But I also like to imagine he's a City stooge that leaks info to keep City fans peckers up and who went to Twitter on behalf of the club to fight the cause for us and now its over he can come back off that cesspit. Same with @City_rabin. He gave some shit back to the reporters at the time.
I live in a fantasy world sometimes.

I think the point that @Manchester_lalala was making is that it’s a ridiculous thing to get remotely worked up about.
