PL charge City for alleged breaches of financial rules

Of course, I'm currently in the process of gifting David Silva the shirt he wore back in the 12/13 season from the away Madrid game, which I hoping to do in person, he actually doesn't have many shirts from his time with us believe or not, but that's another story, so from a conversation I had yesterday with someone who works within the club, who mentioned it will end up just being fines from the PL, mostly the silly charges they added, which we will then appeal.

I don't know anything more other than that conversation I had yesterday, although I wish I hadn’t posted anything as some of the response is bonkers, I’ve never posted anything about it before and find the whole thing boring and tiring listening to every dickhead who’s knows nothing having a free pop at us but was a little giddy yesterday, and tipsy that it’s soon coming to an end.

I hope the club rip every man and his dog to shreds after it for putting us all through this tiresome bullshit which by the look of this thread has seriously affected some people's mental health.

I long for the days when it was all about 22 men kicking a ball about, and what you got, you got, and then just got on with it !!
Fuck. So we're guilty :-(

Cheers for sharing, mate. Much appreciated. If we do get fined it won’t be the overwhelming victory many have been hoping for, but perhaps a clean sweep of all the charges was never a realistic aspiration!

Fined for non co-operation is ok by me. Why should we co-operate? Let the cartel led premier league prove the charges without us assisting them

Thought fines for non-cooperation was a certainty anyway?
Is take that. If we haven’t cooperated then it’s fair enough to get some kind of smack on the wrist.

It would also mean the more serious stuff was a load of bollocks.

I can’t wait for the reaction, should a fine be all we get, especially if, as mark says we appeal that.

Spend big in the summer and next Season we climb back to the top.

There's cooperation and then there's the PL s idea of cooperation which basically asks you to supply your own rope, regardless of any other charges.

Hi mate please never apologise for sharing any information about the case, its posters like yourself that helps people like me get through this tough time for our club.

I imagine that the tribunal will have been given all the correspondence between ourselves and the premier league and then decide what we provided, when etc and they rule on non cooperation.

Why would City trust senior people at the PL with our confidential business information when they have a corrupt relationship with our commercial rivals? It is a re-run of the UEFA case. Why should we tolerate a situation where MUFC, LFC, Arsenal, and Spurs continue to leak titbits from the probe to the media? This is and always has been a smear campaign.

Arbitration normally takes about 4 hours after being released to the participants to be published. I don't think anyone knows anything. There will only be the impression of the different legal representation.

(a) this isn't arbitration

(b) the document containing the decision will be a large one, because there is a lot to discuss. Checking a document that size for typos, spelling mistakes, basic factual errors etc will not be a short job.

I would imagine the lawyers and the parties will know at least 7-14 days before the outcome is announced. That is the period in which, if we have lost, the PL will leak it.
