I used to read it, but lately, most of the stories use the same clickbait Media watch calls out on other platforms. The 'expulsion' thing is a good example, where someone said that if the charges were proven it could result in expulsion from the PL, which I don't think would surprise anyone, including City fans, but they're now using it to give the impression that when the 'expulsion' happens, this player is moving to generate clicks from all concerned.Media literacy on here is awful. We frequently see people mistake a journalist reporting a quote as the journalist saying the quote, as well as blaming news outlets for the accuracy of their user comments FFS.
I read F365 most days because it’s a good aggregator. Sometimes they try a bit hard to be funny, but they’ve got nothing against the club unless your standard is that everyone less committed to City than Pete the badge is part of a campaign against the club.
Then again, there is literally not a single news outlet in the sport that hasn’t been deemed to be part of the rag dipper media conspiracy so I don’t know why I even bother pointing out when someone talks that bollocks for the 8,000th time.
It must work in terms of their overall advertising revenue, but I now avoid them, along with most of the papers, as the headline will have little in common with the actual words. Does result in an echo chamber of news about the charges, but I've given up trying to find proper journalism about them anywhere else.
