We'll just have to rely on the best academy in world football then
Spurs, Liverpool and Arsenal all voted for it.
They are really desperate. It’s a joke the way they keep changing the rules. Whatever rules they try - they just can’t stop us & end up hurting themselves:-)
Surprised at the latter two.
Let’s get ticket prices reduced then. They have financial controls in La Liga. Barcelona's limit is something like £170m. They obviously spend more, so they're under strict rules about what happens to any extra money they raise, which is why they're going for free transfers, and have been asking players to take pay cuts.
Real Madrid have a limit well over £600m, so they're probably the only club in the World that we'd be unable to compete with under these rules.
It's obvious why City opposed though - our income has jumped a lot over the last couple of seasons, and we're right up against this limit now, so would be stuck with money we can't spend.
I’m not, especially Liverpool. Their wonderful owners don’t want to spend money as it reduces the dividends they can take. Anything that reduces their transfer outlay without rubbing the supporters up the wrong way will be fine by them.Surprised at the latter two.
