We've gone from European God-Kings and the Holy Roman Empire to liberal democracy through the renaissance, the French revolution, the Bolshevik revolution, fascism, world war etc. These are very different social orders and I don't believe that the people who emerged shaped these systems in complete isolation. People at key moments shape history but they are not independent actors, they are the products of their time. 1930's Germany was ripe for fascism. The USA has always had an isolationist tendency and as US Capital struggles vis a via China and the tiger economies, it was going to come to the fore again. This isn't correct. But it doesn't really matter.
Bad people use the belief system of others or their misery to carry out their agendas.
They tap into the human condition and manipulate.
The exact same thing is happening to City now. Other fans have been weaponised very effectively with no proof.
Same way belief systems or unhappiness is weaponised.
Belief systems pretty much target unhappy people and promise a future that cannot be justified. Belief systems are mind abuse.
Manchester City are caught up in geopolitics. The British establishment is a strong advocate of liberal democracy which is given extra gravitas by the weight of British history. Our footballing rivals have been enabled by support from the liberal establishment who have certain political prejudices that make them a natural opponent of Emirati MCFC.
