PL charge City for alleged breaches of financial rules

The use of the word "disagree" is amusing. Used in a similar way to the Brexit debates where they'd get some pub landlord to "disagree" with an economist with expertise in European economics and policy.

I can "disagree" with a nuclear physicist based on a few YouTube videos if I want. It wouldn't make our opinions equal.

Thanks for all your efforts in explaining these matters from an expert point of view Stefan. I very much enjoy your contributions to the 93:20 podcast and I have done for some time.
Yup. Keep on keeping on Stefan, you do a great job, not just for us but for serious debate versus ignorant rants.

I’ll hold my hands up. I gave him the benefit of my doubt. I was wrong. Those of you who called him a bullshitter and a liar were absolutely right. Fair play to you all.

After listening to the start of his podcast where he talks about the cease and desist letter he didn’t get, he’s even more of a liar and bullshitter than all of you could have imagined, believe it or not.

If you want to hear what he said, it’s here. If you don’t want to hear what he said, fair enough. Don’t click on the podcast link.

Sir, I protest your remarks directed toward the fictional character Mark Goldbridge. He is one of the top comedians living on his street in Nottingham between number 21 and 23. The breadth of his comic genius is equalled only by his room temperature IQ. My 12 year old daughter laughed so much she could hardly finish grouting the bathroom tiles.

I think we would if it was a purely a token fine for not cooperating with the investigation
The Chairman stated after CAS/ UEFA that City would not take ‘a pinch’ again.
I don’t think they will.
If the Premier League have shot themselves in the foot that’s their problem.
My opinion that’s all, but I trust that man.

I've had a quick listen back to the City section. Don't think I'd say anything different. Not really sure what Gorton's issue is - most likely stylistic (tough) or a lack of understanding (try to read more on the topic).
Here is the City section (along with grimace):

For me, Stefan won on points.

The impression I got was that Jordan knew he'd been rinsed last time, so framed the discussion around high-brow legal entities, of which he knows plenty about. All about restoring his faux authority to the unwashed masses that lap up his bullshit.

Arguing that the scales of justice are tipped out of balance by one side having a £2k per hour KC and the other having a £2.5k per hour KC is laughable.

Didn't know bird and bird were representing the PL.
I walked past their office last week. Very impressive. I'd have bricked the windows if I'd known.
