PL charge City for alleged breaches of financial rules

Honestly, I think we’re on a hiding to nothing with this ‘independent’ commission. I think we’ll be found guilty no matter what evidence we can produce and that they’ll hit us hard with the punishments. We’ll challenge it in the courts which is where we’ll ultimately be victorious, as in, we get to stay in the league. Lots of damage will already have been done though. We’ll have missed out on big players and our name will have been dragged through the mud for several years.
Agreed. We'll be made an example of. They wouldn't have bothered with a 4 year investigation if they didnt have strong evidence. The independent commission will feel pressure to throw the book at us.

Perhaps it is there in black and white everyone, the hateful nine!
Led by American Utd and Liverpool.

This is a pivotal moment, we know the Yanks are trying to take over our game.

Think about this:
Two American owned clubs (scum and dippers) led the super league formation.
City were last in and first out, when the fans went nuts. I think while we were unhappy that tells us something.

The Americans now bolstered by Chelsea, don't want us leading.
Answer, relegate City the club currently dominating the Premier league and once out of the way go for another super league which City cannot be part of if relegated, which they factually want!

Now the PL are in a catch 22, they have to be seen to do something as they have been pushed by the cartel since 2018 but they know what is coming...the super league hasn't gone away, not when Amazon and Apple have billions waiting!
Hence the American influx.

The game will be royally ruined for supporters if the super league is formed!
We are the current narrative though and the sheep keep following it but will never notice the wolves until its too late.

The Americans want us out and I think there is much more at stake here than just City!

Now having said all that, do any expert, critical thinkers on here agree with the summary?

Oh the irony
The yanks (united, Liverpool, arsenal) want us out because we keep beating them!
Yet two of them are wanted out by their own fans and are trying to sell up now.
Chelsea yanks are spending more than they actually have at the same time they go for us
Consistency missing here in this witch-hunt

Spoke to someone I know at the club this morning, and it's certainly allayed my fears a bit. Can't go into too much detail, but the club knew this was coming, even if the timing caught them out a bit, and are confident that we'll be cleared of the most serious

So from a cynical point of view, it sounds like we are in breach of less serious alleagtions then ?

I don't think we'll miss out on any players. We haven't done in the past, and - one way or the other - we've had these types of things hanging over us for a decade. Players want to play for the best teams and for the best money; we're going to be at the top table for some time to come yet, God willing.

We missed out on players when we were punished by UEFA. Di Maria was one of them from what I remember. Think we were restricted to spending £50m or around that figure.

It's the length of the grass that's got us isn't it!

Spot on Liam G. Time to stand up and rally round lads...war has been declared on us from all sides. Winston Churchill can inspire us here..."we shall fight to the end,we shall defend our island whatever the cost may be, we shall fight on the beaches, we shall fight in the hills and we shall never surrender"!!!!.

OK...maybe I got a bit carried away there but you know what I mean.

I think we can all take the hit if we are found guilty in the end, fair enough I'd expect other teams to be sanctioned/penalised. But the sheer hypocrisy of this and the co-ordinated attack from certain clubs, who all have fans on the board reviewing the case is disgusting. united, Liverpool, other huge clubs like Madrid barca, Juve all debt ridden and are most certainly not role models for financial stability and creating a level playing ground in fair competition. We have invested a lot of money in players and infrastructure yeah, hard for smaller clubs to compete yeah I get that but have all the other big clubs not invested hugely brought in loads of players etc.. The huge difference is we've invested wisely and have been run very efficiently which has brought us success very quickly. it just comes down to jealously and a slice of xenophobia. What the glaziers have done to united is outrageous, their own fans detest them, extracting billions out of the club. years and years at throwing millions on trash players, loosing their identity. Chelsea run by abromovic who was/is clearly bent. Abu Dhabi's investment in eastlands and other parts of Manchester has been one of global sports success stories, jobs created money pumped into poor areas, academy facilities giving hope to local kids they can make it. Tourism, and some of the most beautiful football the premier league has witnessed, not to mention the money they have made off us. Like I say we can all take it if we are found guilty as rules are rules but the hypocrisy really does sting. Not saying our state run club doesnt potentially have dirt on their hands, but most of the big/historic clubs are no better. Sad times take down the premier league start again with something new and bring in independent regulators!
