PL charge City for alleged breaches of financial rules

One other worry in the CAS case was the technicalities of time, which we used to gain a positive outcome but all it did was allow the rumors to continue. If we are 100% not guilty , would you nor present every pieces of evidence possible to do so?

I would also add that any business that is not creative won't be a business for long.

The charges are so broad though. How do you answer them without throwing open your entire books and email system for 13 years. Why should you? No business has to do that!

White paper tomorrow saying they will instruct independent body to rule over English football, all PL charges null & void.

We're with you girl. This is a joke, just not a very funny one. It's clear from the noises coming out if this that everybody has decided we're guilty already, and that won't change even if/when we're found otherwise. They'll probably just say not proven at best. It really makes me angry when you see Chelsea spending £400 million and no questions being asked, or United being able to spend, well, anything at all when they're million in debt.

It isn't a fair criticism (IMO) simply to say I am too negative. It is, unfortunately, inconceivable the Panel doesn't throw the book at the club if these charges are proven. It is an ALLEGATION of wholesale false accounting over 9 seasons. I have said it will be extremely difficult for the PL to prove the case and highly complex and sensitive. I believe I have the understanding and experience to speak on the subject.

But again, I stress, IF proven we have a huge problem and telling me I should be embarrassed misses the point. The board will be the ones embarrassed and a lot more. Don't shoot the messenger.

Not your job to protect the club mate. They should do a better job of protecting themselves.

This is what I suspect is happening. the PL is hiding behind technical list of alleged breaches without specifying the accusation and throwing a broad catch all argument. I suspect that is because they do not have a specific case with ironclad proof to prove a wrongdoing. rather they are throwing everything out in an attempt to get access to all our files and documents and get us on something, ie a fishing expedition.

if they really have clear proof of false accounting, they need to come out and specify the issue and say exactly how we cheated PL and the big audit groups.

Going to ask a question which may sound ridiculously silly. At what point do City find out what the *actual* allegations are, and not some vague, broad catch all argument? When they arrive in front of a panel? Or will the facts be laid out before then so that their own arguments can be in place prior to it reaching a panel, as like in a court of law where the accused knows exactly what he or she is supposed to have done wrong?
