PL charge City for alleged breaches of financial rules

The PL has a separate ongoing investigation. One commentator suggests a sporting sanction is unlikely as it would discourage other clubs from self-reporting.
that makes zero sense as all clubs could do something dodgy then self report it to get off. It's very simple this case, has a sporting advantage happened yes or no. If it has then it's a points deduction no ifs, no buts

If I recall correctly, part of the consideration when deciding punishments for PSR breaches (see Everton/Forest) was whether their misdemeanors had led to sporting advantage or not.

Making payments off the books to secure players they otherwise wouldn't have signed sounds like a pretty clear sporting advantage to me!

10pts deduction per charge and stripped of all trophies won during the offending period. Absolutely disgusting that we had to play a Champions League final against a bunch of cheats.
Sporting advantage will become subjective

It was Solhekol at Sky Sports offering that opinion, probably as a poor attempt to exert some influence. I wouldn't worry too much about his comment.

Or whatever the sums involved are, get multiplied by a number (10 say) which could be £200million in Chelsea's case.

Hey? The club want a resolution ASAP either way it goes. If it’s bad news we appeal and drag the bastards through the high court. It’s the Premier League who are dragging it out in case or maybe they know it’s gone against them. They only have leverage whilst we are presumed guilty.
Appeal only possible if the arbitration panel have failed to follow process or rule of law and that is back to the tribunal system The verdict isn't appealable and the HC wont get involved that as far as I understand it

Both parties are awaiting the verdict the only dragging out would be the announcement agreement

Yep we know next season rules are changing regarding % of turnover on wages I wonder if this rule will be still in the new rules

A player of hazard quality! If we had him what’s the chance we get at least 3 points more? Yep it is subjective and you can bet there will be an argument by Chelsea pointing at other clubs buying top quality players and they got worse, so they can argue that!

I'm on a cruise over Christmas and Mrs Moon had the option of half a dozen cabins for us....I picked level 11 cabin 115 or as it'll be shown on the door 11115.

I was expecting this to be the last hurrah for all this shite and that I could smile every time I went in but, seems like it could be months or possibly fucking years yet.
Where you off to Mr Moon?

Me and Mrs Prague go on 20th on Iona to Lisbon, Madeira and the Canaries for two weeks
