I await the next example of outstanding turd polishing by Simon Stone - BBC
ArseAnal & Spuds had similar issues with Chelsea in the London region, which is where Wenger came into it.I remember the story well but I can honestly say that I can never recall Wenger having anything to do with it. As @Dribble just said, it was the NW-based teams who were moaning about it.
Honestly wouldn’t have been able to tell what my post count was within a 20k margin of error but fuck me, I need to get out more.Did you just write that to get your 88,888 post count ? ;)
I can’t even watch him.If keys is playing at being a **** he deserves a damn oscar
What, he's not bald and ugly in the US?Mcoist is like Drury, when you only used to here them now & again, they seemed a breath of fresh air. Now we hear them every week following their paymasters line, you realise they're no better. Listening to Lee Dixon on US Network is completely different to when he's commentating on ITV.
Read thisIt was the Northwest based PL teams ManUre, Red & Blue Dippers, & Blackburn who complained, as City were hoovering up all the best local young talent, enabling us to splatter opposition teams by ridiculous scorelines. They threatened to boycott matches against City in protest, but IIRC little came of it bar bellyaching to the media.
Dunno about Liverpool & Blackburn, but ManUre & Everton definitely had similar private school arrangements with their kids. However, it was also the revolutionary high tech CFA & the social education side City offered that wowed most parents, hence ManUre being seriously pissed that the children of many of their players went to City.
It wasn't them, Chelsea did itRead this

There seems real genuine respect and enthusiasm from both sides, Wenger and all the City players and Pep. Great to see...It's nothing new with him. He's been blowing smoke up our arse for years. Is that a City coat he's wearing 40 seconds in? ;)
