PL charge City for alleged breaches of financial rules

I remember being told, years ago, of a well-known local manager being given wads of cash in a brown bag in connection with some transfer. The game's always been a bit dodgy, and the people who pretend it is (or ever was) squeaky clean are either hypocrites or deluded.
As long as the right teams are winning it, not 2 bollox are given. Had we had the Aguero moment and Pep and Klopps records were swapped, you’d never have heard of 115…..

Watched a good film yesterday (Bank of Dave) it's about a business man in Burnley who wants to start up a new bank for the people of Burnley with profits going to local charities. To get it started he has to apply to the bank regulators but Dave's problem is that it's a closed shop and it's been over a century since a new bank has been accepted ( they don't want any Johnny come latelys taking a slice of the pie) There is a scene in the film where some of the major bankers (red cartel) are sat in the boardroom debating over how to stop Dave and this guy
(Masters) pipes up and says yes let him join our group, the cartel can't believe this but he explains that as we make up all the rules we can make it impossible for him as he won't be able to comply with our bullshit.
It was like watching us against the cartel/pm mafia

It’s the same here though and that definitely sets a direction.
Carragher, Neville, Warner, Souness, Keane, Merson, Smith, Wright, Ferdinand, Redknapp, Murphy, Hargreaves, Dublin, Keown, McManaman, Dixon.

All of them played for the 3 red shirted clubs and they push the narrative whenever possible.
You missed Owen, Warnock, Face Jones, Sturridge, Henry, James, and probably a cast of thousands more

Neil Mellor..

Ex City player, Rodney Marsh made a joke about Toon Army (tsunami) and was sacked, which may or may not have been appropriate. Carragher spits out of his car into the face of a child and was not sacked.
Ex City player, Mike Summerbee told them, quite prophetically as it turned out, after a defeat by the rags, that city would take over. He didn’t get invited on again.

Micah Richard’s is an absolute clown, offering no incite whatsoever, but has a job for life as long as he never talks about city in the same way Carragher and Neville talk about their teams.

Neville, who played for one of the most cynical managers in history, which certainly helped his success and gets no criticism from me, started the ‘tactical foul’ stuff about city over 10 years ago and he, amongst others, still use it to this day.

They work for a low-life organisation. They're proven cheats.

One interesting story is that Henry owns the Boston Globe. The managing director is his wife, who has no journalistic experience. Her undergraduate degree is in business and she has a masters in real estate. I wonder who the second choice was for that role?

The Globe conducted a somewhat McCarthyite campaign against people alleged to be sex pests, but that didn't extend to one of the Globe's senior employees, who was accused of sexual harassment and resigned. They refused to name their own journalist.
Yup. And even though I live in Boston and support the local Red Sox - reluctantly because of their ownership- they also are not above cheating. Henry et al are dodgy fuckers at best.

What do you want Micah to incite?

But…. That’s not what happened. The Liverpool employee when he left City acquired someone else’s login details and used those - not his old City credentials. Demonstrates clear evidence of wanting to hack the system by using login details never issued to them and Liverpool FC were clearly comfortable accessing and using data that clearly wasn’t theirs.
They deliberately used the log in details of Rob Newman, a current City scout, so they could avoid detection. City’s IT dept would think it was Rob logging in

I just assumed that city didn’t remove the old scouts access when he moved to Liverpool.

They got away with that.
Imagine if you did that for an investment bank or a pharmaceutical company.
The employee would serve time and the financial penalties would be much more than £1m.

Just to be clear Rob Newman wasn’t involved the scout who left for Liverpool was able to obtain his credentials without Rob Newman knowing?
