PL charge City for alleged breaches of financial rules

Such a professional documentary type production and the editing must have cost some money. Eventually it will be revealed who made it and who financed it.
@slbsn (Stefan is it?) on Twitter posted this... made by a company registered in the British Virgin Islands, and the producers have links to major TV companies... all very suspect

They don’t want to understand, in fact they refuse to understand - most of ‘em are just trolling and the rest are fucking thick. People will believe any old shit if they’re desperate for it to be true. They’re not interested in facts or finding the truth…just want to feel better about being losers.
I've given up trying to argue with the 'cheating/corrupt/oil money/state funded' brigade. They have their narrative and you won't shift them - even when due process has taken place. It amazes me how indignant some of them are when they protest that even though 'everyone knows we are guilty' nothing is done about it. Our default position as fans is to defend the club and argue with these dimwits - but I'm rapidly coming round to the view that maybe the club has got it right - just ignore them and assume a superior stance - that we have better things to do than argue with them and thereby take them seriously. I think trumpeting our achievements and being supremely positive about our future really gets to them and if their only answer is '115' then I think we have won. We have survived everything they have thrown at us - whilst the redtop blubs continue their downward trajectory - we continue to thrive and in the world that really matters - we are gaining respect and we are relentlessly going forward. Their tactics have increased the resolve of the club, players, manager and fans. Hopefully they won't realise that until it's too late

A thought occurs to me. We had some traitors in our staff who were being paid by the dippers for confidential info. What if they planted some false documents?
If you mean the scouting data theft, they were already in employment with the victims at that point. If you mean something else please enlighten me (I'm not being sarcastic, just want to know).

Absolutely, I reckon we could publish all our accounts on the inter web for all to see and they’d still say we were guilty. What the red tops and WhatsApp wankers set out to do they’ve achieved. We are forever guilty regardless of what happens.
We do publish all our accounts on the internet and have done for years. Up until the last period CFG did the same. As British registered companies, both companies’ accounts are available from Companies House. No offshore registration here unlike manyoo.

Sponsors and commercial partners signing on the dotted line for shirt sleeve sponsorship and training kit sponsorship. You wouldn’t put your brand at risk if you knew you were going to be associated with a club that’s about to be sent to division ten and the directors called frauds. They must be getting some assurances from the club about what the mood music is around the charges.
Sponsors will be indemnified by the club against untoward legal events affecting their contract. City and CFG will have legal and political risks insurance.

The dippers paid City employees to send confidential info, nothing to do with scouting hack. The guilty parties were found out and sacked. That’s all I know.

2449 pages - Club Statement pg108. I know we don't have any right to being kept up to date on such a delicate issue - but a general update may be appreciated.

I fully the get the club's stance on this, but that latest YouTube "documentary" - doubtless expensive to commission and professionally made, is quite an attack. Seems like a big escalation with malevolent intent.
I'd like to see the people really behind it exposed and their motives made public. Really hoping City are on the case.

They’re getting in now while they can get the “115 charges” discount! Without that anchor, the prices would be piss-boilingly higher!!!

The “Treble Treble Treble” is a real thing!

The First Team aren’t the only City team to have won 3-in-a-row! ALL 3 of them did!!!

Plus that little thing called The Treble!!

And, the new training kit (and other items) sponsor is Asahi Super Dry 0%!!!

I’m sure it’ll be checked for any libelous comments.

I look forward to next season and hearing my fellow Blues in the South stand all singing merrily to David Bowie's 'Rebel, Rebel' something along the lines of 'Treble, Treble! Man City's the best!/ Treble, Treble! Better than the rest!' (all right, all right.. I'll get me coat..)
