Just seen a clip of Talkshite from this morning on you tube , talking about the you tube video ,Gobby Jordon " If it walks like a duck talks like a duck then it's a duck" If it walks like a twat ,looks like a twat ,then it's Jordon.

Says a lot about sports journalism that this fella is seen to be erudite and wise because he's more articulate than a typical Sun or Mirror reporter.

The only name associated with this company is Anthony Colliver, who coincidentally is a Sky journalist, a Talksport reporter and a football commentator for IMG. Whether that’s a red herring or not I don’t know.

The only name associated with this company is Anthony Colliver, who coincidentally is a Sky journalist, a Talksport reporter and a football commentator for IMG. Whether that’s a red herring or not I don’t know.

Interestingly, Silver Lake, and by association Mubadala, are big investors in IMG/Endeavour. I'd be amazed if anybody connected to IMG would be part of a hatchet job on City.

I don't think Sunrise Investment Management is connected. The YT was made by Surise Limited (no "n" in Surise :)

Could be a deliberate misspelling. No such word as Surise. Just seems odd there’s a media related company with a very similarly name registered in BVI. As I said it might be completely unrelated.

Colour me crazy, but I’m glad our owners stay above the fray and only slay the dragons in the most public, legally binding manner.

If they got into publicly answering ever charge leveled against them, every time it was leveled, they would have to hire a phalanx of 24/7/365 lawyers just for that!

I would much rather see what Pep has said, and the Executives and Ownership say and go what they have done, than be reflexive in trying to play media Whack-a-Mole.

When you carry a big stick, you don’t need to use it nearly as often as one might think, but when you do, people sit up and take notice.

The Ownership is playing the long game of maximizing their ROI while silencing LEGAL threats to their global business interests.

Being a loud bully only makes others even happier if and when you get your comeuppance. Why poke that beast in an era of “news” traveling around the world while the truth is still putting on its pants?

I’ll take “Speak softly, but carry a big stick” every day, as long as the stick is available for use at any time, on anybody that threatens the host.

Absolutely, I reckon we could publish all our accounts on the inter web for all to see and they’d still say we were guilty. What the red tops and WhatsApp wankers set out to do they’ve achieved. We are forever guilty regardless of what happens.

I think the disappointment most people feel is that, this is the correct way to deal with something that is going through the courts. There would be a media embargo as well, but here we have a situation where the media seem to be fed by the same people who are pushing our charges and they seem to be allowed say what they want with impunity.

I am as certain as anyone on here that we are innocent, but I’m not as confident as some that, that is how we will be judged.
I don’t trust the PL and their process, whereby there is no independent body to appeal to, like CAS.
They seem to have all bases covered.
