PL charge City for alleged breaches of financial rules

There wasn't a vote afaik. There was no point because it was clear it wouldn't pass. So wait to see what United do when they do actually have to vote.

May be a change with Ratcliffe, but I doubt it.

But yes, the PL is a big mess at the moment.

Good old democracy, only vote when the result you want is certain…..

I’m just hoping we are logging all this shite down from so called journalists writing this shite about us day in day out then when we clear our name we go after the fuckers full force
Not holding my breath on that though

I've got absolutely no problem with Ian Wrights comments. He's saying what I feel, as a fan. Once we're cleared, the respect and admiration for our success will undoubtedly increase and spread to those who are currently on the fence as a consequence of a media witch hunt from certain parties. They have no effect on me as a fan, but I can see why they'd influence other outsiders. Once we're cleared, they're campaign will become irrelevant.

I do. Not with what he said. But how and why he said it. Despite trying to be clever about it and disguise it, pretty clear and obvious, what he was doing. And who for.

Surprised to see United in the same group as us. Could be down to Ratcliffe that. If the Glazers still had full control, you’d definitely expect them to be in the other group.

I would wait to see how they actually vote. Just not complaining about it doesn't prove much.

But it's interesting that the speculation is that the clubs want to finalise the new financial rules before they commit to an EFL deal. Some serious politicking going on I expect. Once again. Masters and the wider PL organisation coming out of this looking pretty weak, imo.

Also interesting some clubs are thinking of using expensive lawyers to sue, presumably over the IR threat to impose a deal. Irony. As far as I know, we only use expensive lawyers to defend ourselves.....

Just seen an announcement from the premier league for City’s case date is expected before mid-June

Liverpool have been at the forefront of every single situation that makes the gaps between the haves and have nots bigger.

Voting against a footballs pools that would benefit all clubs rather than just them and everton.
Stopping away clubs getting a % of the gate so the teams with bigger crowds could pull away.
Being one of the clubs pushing for the premier league.
Being one of the clubs pushing for an ESL.
This latest vote.

Are they a socialist club? …. Or not.
