PL charge City for alleged breaches of financial rules

I honestly believe that the sheer hatred shown to City by elements of the English media over recent years has been one of Pep's key motivations for staying so long. As a Catalan the hatred from the Madrid-dominated media drove him on at Barcelona. He has always been more comfortable being part of the anti-establishment. He wasn't as happy at Bayern where the internal politics upset him. The BBC regularly describe him as a "Spaniard" in their reports for example. Other outlets describe him as a Catalan. I believe none of this is lost on Pep.
The level of disrespect they show him could light a fire on the sea bed

It's the only way, to fight fire with fire.
What do people who have Billions of money in a company, protect it at all costs, If City and our owners are not careful we could see all the good work go down the pan overnight because we have never challenged the system

As I said, that £75million United claimed in allowances to stop them from failing PSR was a joke and Nobody questioned them doing it, Sorry but you think City would get away with fudging the PSR rules

I got so much stick from Stefan Borson on here because I questioned what he said in the first interview, Then United complained to talksport and he changed his view and said they did nothing wrong a couple of days later

That is the Power they hold, Dare you to question United, Stefan was right when saying Arsenal were only allowed a Covid19 allowance of a couple of million and they have a 60.000 stadium so you can do the maths on the loss of match day revenue ?

Why does everybody fear United and Liverpool ? Will the Premier League fold or fall apart? if you stand up to them. They will take their ball home. You Know what let them fuck off, the game in England is not just about them. whats the harm in other teams and their fans wanting to dream of winning the title
The beauty is the stupid twats continue to throw the fire lighters and keep the mad bald legend alive:)))))

That's interesting. Not sure who those guys are or how serious they are (the article seems a little naive) but it raises some interesting points.

Your carer seems to be going a good job :)
Thanks . Hope you are doing well as that surgery sounds scary .

The article raises some interesting points , not least around conflict of interest. Self interest , career prospects and a comfortable inertia and a disinterested editorial team dampens curiosity , especially if your employer has a big contract ( BBC Sports/ Sky /Talk sport ) with the top league .

Sports media is set up to make investigative journalism impossible , career ending and deeply unattractive to most journalists. Credible people work elsewhere .

"Facts", fostered by those in charge , are established by endless repetition , echoed by pundits so that they become true. " Controversy " is confined to referee decisions poured over endlessly and "detective work" is produced by any partisan fan of any club who can edit a video or collect a few " facts" that fit the story.

These shithouses should have their press accreditation permanently revoked with immediate effect and if and when we are cleared, writs issued to them for damages caused to the club and it's reputation. And writs also issued to the media outlets who published any damaging articles written by the aforementioned hacks.

What’s the situation with clubs that have been punished or relegated regarding shareholder loans must be at least one with less than those around that could argue was disadvantaged by the unlawful rules perhaps the point of relegation I mean Everton for example have loads of shareholder loans and escaped at the expense of other clubs I would be going after the premier league for compo

Yep

It's far too easy for them to rock up and keep asking about the 115 and other crap.
Manchester City should be all over them and stamping down on them about asking none game questions all the time

Enough is enough, what did anybody get out of the last pre-game interview ? it was all about Pep and 115 charges and England, You are here for the game vs Spurs and that's it, Yes, its a open interview but please ask about the game and players and the plan for how you are going to setup or play.

The Press hate Manchester City but we treat them like royals, free food and drink programs their own press room and its easy to relax and be warm and its all the same on match days.

It was scary alright. Problem is now, I post things in the wrong place and struggle to remember what I have just read.

The thing is, Pep's presser is where the club get to put their side over in the media without it getting twisted. I'm not sure why people can't see this

But they do twist it or even add things that are nothing to do with the upcoming game itself. It's almost like they are trying to provoke an adverse reaction from Pep so they can twist it as the club has something to hide. They should either stick to the agenda of the presser and if any questions about 115 or the any possible punishment the reporter should be reminded that subject is not open for discussion and if they persist they should be asked to leave or even escorted from the building.

I can tell you this much. When we slam dunk 115 the majority of rival fans will think we lost and have been relegated….which makes it better for us.

“What do you mean there is no tooth fairy?”

The Pre-match interview should be all about the Spurs game, the Pep stuff and the 115 charges should be waved away by the club's press officer who is sat next to Pep, City released a Pep statement and club video interview the day before and that was enough for the media with all the questions answered.

The Media side of our club needs a big shake-up and somebody with an iron fist to keep the rat's media reporters under control, Media passes are taken away if you step over the line, stop all the free drinks and food and match tickets car parking the whole lot.
