PL charge City for alleged breaches of financial rules

It’s a criminal enterprise. Police have brought down some major drug gangs by perusing stuff that the dealers thought was secret. Don’t go there.
It really isn’t a criminal enterprise mate, it’s a more secure way to access the internet, although you can indeed source various types of criminality on the dark web

Imo, everyone should be using Tor, a dark web browser, along with a vpn for browsing the normal internet as it’s far more secure than the likes of Google

My understanding is that everything you do in Tor is essentially encrypted, so it gives you an added layer of security (hence why it’s popular with the criminal underworld)

That’s my basic understanding of it anyway & if I’m correct, I’ve got no idea why this isn’t advertised as a secure way to access the internet (possibly because data is king & Tor would put a stop to data collection??)

Ps I don’t use it myself as I cba trying to figure it out, but have mates who do

I think some people are over thinking what he actually wrote; I read it that if you were dodgy enough to put through inflated sponsorships, why wouldn't you also take the benefit of the zero interest loans that you can get from your owner?

I'm not sure he was saying that we could have gone the loan route instead of the dodgy revenue route, more so saying that if you were guilty of cooking the books, wouldn't you have taken advantage of the loans as well?

Also, ignoring FFP/PSR, there are huge benefits of having an interest free loan even if it's just for balance sheet purposes, so IMO we didn't go down that route because we envisaged it ended up in us needing/wanting to challenge it further down the line.

May be wishful thinking on my part, but let's be clear, these guys are thinking 10 years in advance, not 10 weeks.
Yes, I was referring to an earlier post Tolmie made. The more current one you are referring to says exactly what you are saying in your second paragraph...

It's just a bit slow :-)

I've said it before and I'll say it again. They can bang the cheats drum as much as they want but the fact is we've not been fixing matches or buying off referees. We've never resorted to the kind of tactics that Arteta's Arsenal have been guilty of. And - since we started winning trophies again in 2011 - certainly not had any of our managers manipulate referees on an almost weekly basis like Ferguson did for many a year. If these cunts down the road want to talk about cheating then they need to look a lot closer to home because that was cheating in plain fucking sight and every fanbase in the country was more than wise to the fact.

Of course, none of that alters the fact that we're being accused of some very serious financial breaches and we'll need to go on to clear our name to remove that particular cloud that's been hanging over us but as things stand we've done fuck all wrong, and we've certainly never blatantly cheated on the pitch on an industrial scale, unlike certain other clubs. They're the real cheats, and that's before we get on to the suspected behind-the-scenes corruption that drove the Premier League to level the charges at us in the first place.
They have already failed FFP and been fined ..
Never mentioned tho
