PL charge City for alleged breaches of financial rules

Whenever I get drawn into a debate with an opposition fan about our charges I start by asking one simple question.

If we are cleared of the charges, would you accept our innocence and agree we were operating within the rules?

If not then what's the point in a conversation.
I had the same chat with a Liverpool fan who said we will still be guilty but get away to which I said “so in theory Liverpool fans are guilty for hillsbrough because I don’t accept it was the police etc . “

I think that was the whole point of all of this, right from the very start with UEFA then massively expanded and drawn out by the PL.

If they could ping us guilty with any of the charges, that was just a bonus to them but not particularly important because the ‘court of public opinion’ is where they’ve found us guilty of everything and is where we will always be guilty, even if proven 115 times innocent by the panel.

It’s all been about defaming the name of Manchester City Football Club and the country of the United Arab Emirates.

As long City this time DON'T settle for a fine because of non-corresponding on time when it was clearly Uefa who was moving the goalpost and rules.

That settlement was wrong by City and it was a guilty plea in the eyes of everybody else

Juve are still going strong. There relegation punishment hasn’t finished Juve off.

They had been in third place, 10 points off the top spot, before the penalty was applied on Friday. The controversy comes less than 20 years after they were embroiled in a match-fixing saga that saw them heavily fined, stripped of titles and relegated from Italian football's top tier in 2006
Juve has never been tried for matchfixing.
