PL charge City for alleged breaches of financial rules

I have heard people more knowledgeable than me say that an appeal is likely either way - but I just can’t see it if the ruling is in City’s favour.

In that scenario Masters is finished and will resign immediately.

You then have someone else coming in with a perfect opportunity to draw a line under the whole situation.

I just don’t see any scenario where the new chief executive will allow the stain of the most badly-judged litigation in the history of sport to bleed over into his/her reign.

They will want to make their mark and claim a new era for the premier league - that can’t done with the financial and reputational shadow of an appeal hanging over it.
That depends on who interviews him/her for the job. If it’s anything like Masters, United and Liverpool seemed to have the biggest say.

If we win Masters should be sued for defamation and whatever city can hit him with.
The maggot has gone after us relentlessly.
Damaged our clubs reputation to a point it may never recover and been the red tops very own attack dog.

Resignation is far too good for this bottom feeder.

For some inexplicable reason I just read some comments on the DM article about the cases conclusion.
The opposition fans will always call us cheats regardless, as much as I don’t care about these morons I care what this means for our clubs reputation.
If we’re innocent our club needs to go after masters with the vigour and relentlessness he went after us with.
I want him bankrupt, I want his grandkids grandkids in poverty as a result of this corrupt prick.

Here we go again. The hearing has concluded. The rumour mill is rife gleefully stoked by the media. I sincerely hope that we sue EVERY single media outlet for defamation when we are acquitted. And then start spreading malicious gossip about the cartel's involvement in this saga.

What would you want me to do? Cry? Stop watching us play ?

I find it hard to believe our owner, chairman , soriano , all our auditors and sponsers got together to commit fraud for a decade . They are accusing us of fraud on a grand scale , do you believe we did that ?
Well said Kaz. Utter bellend that one. One of the very few I have on ignore

Haha, if ever we need an example of blind loyalty there we go. You would have to think less of people at the club if they have gone out of their way to fiddle the books, we know the reasons why we might have done it and there will be leeway. We should feel disappointed that the club has lied to us as a minimum though. The whataboutery gave me a chuckle too. Our creative accounting will have been more than others, because of their goalpost change we will have had to close the financial gap as much as possible, a lot more than others.

We can agree on one thing though, just wanting it over. I am hopeful the club have told the truth to us along the way.
Talking of blind loyalty when was the last time you went to anfield with your red and white scarf?
