PL charge City for alleged breaches of financial rules

I used to think that the PL wanted none of this and were being pushed to do this by the red cartel. Now I’m thinking the PL are out to get us and most PL clubs are sick of it.
I’m sure the PL have had it in for us. To start with it may have been pressure from the reds but a serial winner of the league is not at all good for the PL as a business. The last thing they want is a Serie A or Bundesliege with the same club winning it every year.

Somewhat ironic that their fears may have been unfounded this season!

Not sure he will resign. Who is [he] answerable to? The cartel and many other clubs will be happy he has taken this action even if the PL fail.
Alison Brittain, the rest of the board, the member clubs. Not a chance he doesn't either fall or jump, either way he's gone (presuming it goes our way of course).

A serial league winner didn't seem to be much of an issue for the first 10/15yrs of the Premier League, as far as their "business" goes.

It may just be they are particular about who the winners are, and what background their owners are from?

They never mentioned it when Slur Alex was winning it every year as they never mentioned it when Liverpool were winning it every year (admittedly Division One, not the PL).

Fact is, City have won it on the last day of the season 4 times, with the Aguero moment propelling the PL to a whole different level.

I’d suggest it’s more worrying if it gets won by 10+ points but, as I know you know, if Liverpool do that this season, which is highly possible, they’ll be ‘the greatest team in the history of the PL’ by June……..
