If the relegation affects a player's salary and other income, or if it prevents the player from participating in a tournament the team had qualified for, players can file a complaint with FIFA’s Dispute Resolution Chamber. If the complaint is successful, they can either terminate their contracts and become free agents or receive compensation.
Article 14What’s the specific provision within FIFA rules for this?

Had to give you a like for that postAdmit it. You’re really hurting this morning aren’t you, chief?
You’ve held into the hope for years and now you can see it, feel it almost, being taken away from you inexorably.
Your club is shit and you can no longer hide behind the strawman of big, bad, City.
And it is glorious.
You red ****.
Rule 115.What’s the specific provision within FIFA rules for this?
The news has reduced him to desperate madness. All about burnishing the image of MBZ, apparently. Yeah, City talk about him non stop.I think Nick Harris needs to go for a lie down
Do you not think this extension is positive for the club ?If the relegation affects a player's salary and other income, or if it prevents the player from participating in a tournament the team had qualified for, players can file a complaint with FIFA’s Dispute Resolution Chamber. They could have waited until 1 15 to announce the signingIs Haalands contract 115 months long?
What’s wrong with you? If if if if if if? If I win the lottery jackpot tomorrow I’d be really fucking rich, but the probability is remote, so why would I keep saying it? What made you join the forum on December 28th 2024? Just to be clear, are you referring to me or him John?Whilst tempting PB, no good can come from engaging with someone whose rabidity and instability are the stuff of legend on this forum. Steer well clear is my advice mate
You still here raggy ?If a relegation caused by a club breaking the rules leads to financial losses for a player, it provides grounds for the player to seek contract termination through FIFA. Therefore, if you refuse to let players leave, there is a significant risk you will lose them for free. That's a can of worms no club wants to open.
If you trawl back through my comments re this I have never suggested once that illegal payments weren’t made indeed I have always thought that charges were in coming.Thing is you cunts DID ACTUALLY make dodgy payments and your most successful period WAS based on dodgy payments to agents that gave you sporting advantage?
Of course, it’s positive for the club – new signings, contract renewals, Silverlake, the financial report, Pep, Erling, the board, etc. etc. As I’ve written 115 times, I’m completely convinced that we will be cleared of most of the allegations. But that has nothing to do with what we’re discussing here, namely whether a 'relegation clause' matters if a club is relegated due to fraud.Do you not think this extension is positive for the club ?
Do you also not think that City and Erling employ some of the very best lawyers and agents in the business
We’ve just extended a global superstar who brings profile and revenue to the club and seen off the imminent threat of Real Madrid and potentially 115
If things go wrong both parties will find an exit solution
I can’t see any negatives

That said I did point out that the change of ownership significantly complicated matters if for no other reason without access to RA or the likes of Bruce Buck there is little the PL can do to force disclosure or indeed attendance at any IC irrespective of all that if the new owners didn’t acknowledge wrong doing then al most certainly there wouldn’t be discussion around a settlement
Of course paying bigger sums give a sporting advantage but having been involved in audits over many years I can assure you that club after club have “ pushed the boundaries” and it is ironic that the PL never seem to commence disciplinary proceedings against clubs that agree settlements with HMRC .
Yeah. Breach of contractual integrity is key in the land of make believe. Just as a test, tell us the elements of a contract in English common law. I’ll give you a starter…..’usque ad unum.’ Now Go go go.Breach of Contractual Integrity. Severe Reputation Damage. Significant Change in Professional Conditions. Economic Instability.
