PL charge City for alleged breaches of financial rules

Of course, it’s positive for the club – new signings, contract renewals, Silverlake, the financial report, Pep, Erling, the board, etc. etc. As I’ve written 115 times, I’m completely convinced that we will be cleared of most of the allegations. But that has nothing to do with what we’re discussing here, namely whether a 'relegation clause' matters if a club is relegated due to fraud.
I’m confused.
You’ve only 50 messages on the forum but you’ve written this 115 times.
Where?
Or were you on here before under a different moniker?

Article 14
Article 14 reads as follows:
Article 14 - Terminating a contract with just cause
A contract may be terminated by either party without consequences of any kind (either payment of compensation or imposition of sporting sanctions) where there is just cause.
It’s so broadly worded as to be unenforceable and in any event it is indistinguishable from what would be an implied term in the contact. Anyone can terminate any contract if there is just cause. Saying you can terminate a contract where there is ‘just cause’ is akin to saying someone can have a wage increase if they do a ‘good job’. Nebulous, imprecise, lacking certainty and specificity, and thereby both ineffectual and impotent.

Any lawyer worth their salt would kick the absolute shit out of that Article.

A whole different debate as to that sort of transaction should be allowed .
Basically as you are yank owned you can sell yourself what you want, one hotel, another hotel, a women’s football team, anything you want. Bent, racist anti Arab, anti competitive cunts

Jackie called TalkSport this morning. She's generally a good un...

However referring to 115 she said something like "we've probably got away with it" !

All that does is throw fuel on the fire ...

We need to change our own narrative to something more positive like "we will be cleared of any wrongdoing" bla bla bla....

A small but important point imo...
