PL charge City for alleged breaches of financial rules

This is why I think it will now be announced at the end of the season. Especially if we are innocent.

I can't see the PL wanting his and his fellow board members futures being questioned in the media whilst still within season.

I think it works best for both parties that it is announced post season.

The media didn't bother dragging us through the mud when it was during the season.

The PL commission should in theory carry on regardless. City are unlikely to play ball with the PL if the verdict is positive towards City.

Is this verdict going to make any difference to anyone's life, on here?
I follow this thread for entertainment value and pipe up here n there.
But, whether get get found innocent or guilty is going to make absolutely no difference to my life, one little bit. I will still follow City, no matter what.
I will be more disappointed if we get beat on Sunday than I will if we lose this case.

Yes. Absolutely.

1 billion percentage yes.

If found guilty, the entire board will be disqualified as directors. They would correct assume that our trophies were illiegitmate because we cheated. Everything we've built for almost 20 years would be erased, and the Abu Dhabi based board would be complicit.

Again, I've said this before. I think we'll be found not guilty. but a guilty verdict isn't some nonsense and in business terms is the most serious accusation possible. There's no coming back from this. It's a criminal matter.

a post season announcement wouldn’t allow time for an appeal to be heard before next season starts. There might not be enough time if it’s announced tomorrow but the PL will be under enormous pressure to get it done and dusted before august
 
I’m off to Tenerife in the morning so hopefully I will be sat with a cold drink in hand, outside a bar when the good news drops and be surrounded by Irish, cockneys, in-bred six fingered west/east country wankers and watch as they implode. I shall then leave the rag bar and go in search of a Scandinavian/Welsh/ Mentally deranged dickheads bar to see the impact in there too, that’s the dippers covered then.

Can’t be arsed with the rest of the football (Addams) family.

Mind you as this whole farce has been going on since ‘Adam were a lad’ a week away won’t make a difference in the wait.
