One last SEO hitHi Stefan, I have a naive question.
Why do you think the timing is very odd? I am genuinely curious to know your view on that.

Konspiracy was equally as mad a place in different ways , down those steps to get in , different rooms with totally different vibes , no surprise it only lasted a couple of years at best off memory , great , heady times though ! Thunderdome wasn’t for the faint hearted , used to skin up on the bar in there and they didn’t bat an eyelid !Only went in once, (after the 1-1 at the swamp or Ian Brightwell's thunderbastard derby as i like to recall it) didn't stay in there too long. Thought i'd walked through the gates of hell as i entered.
Asked the bouncers if we could leave, one stuck his head outside, looked both ways then turned to us and "go go quick".
A bouncer had been shot there few weeks before.
We flagged a taxi down and went straight over to Konspiracy, where my arse returned back to my body.
Thunderdome gave me bad vibes
Stefan was proven correct. Goldbridge was bullshitting. Not long after he got the boot. Obviously to save his ugly face, Goldbridge said talksport was all scripted and fake, and he couldn't condone it, funny he does for the united stand. Plus he was missing his bedroom.
It’s an old, very niche part of the story. Why now?Hi Stefan, I have a naive question.

Its so funny the wilful ignorance that they display, firstly all wealthy people have intermediaries that handle deals for them, that is how business works as you say, secondly the very idea that these wealthy peoples business dont cross over either directly or indirectly is entirely ludicrous and anyone with half a brain or access to google knows that so its inconcievable that the athletic dont, so this faux shock is just an attempt to placate the hard of thinkingNothing wrong with that anyway. It’s how businesses works ffs. You wash my back…
Maybe theyve exhausted every other piece of bullshit non story that they can? It’s an old, very niche part of the story. Why now?
What’s really odd is that this is the second time that Konspiracy has featured in this thread. Given how unrelated to the subject it is that is quite remarkable. @gordondaviesmoustacheKonspiracy was equally as mad a place in different ways , down those steps to get in , different rooms with totally different vibes , no surprise it only lasted a couple of years at best off memory , great , heady times though ! Watched you on that talksport clip before , was convinced JJ was Terry Christian, definitely looks like him with his Hawaiian shirt over the leather jacket! It’s an old, very niche part of the story. Why now?
Mad place that mate , Hacienda was for tourists , the dome and Konspiracy were off the scale. What’s really odd is that this is the second time that Konspiracy has featured in this thread. Given how unrelated to the subject it is that is quite remarkable. @gordondaviesmoustache

Primal Scream classed themselves as lightweights compared to Depeche Mode when they toured togetherKnew a manager of well known live music venue in the nineties who said the only band at the time to outdo the Happy Mondays when it came to drug consumption were Primal Scream.
Not sure if I mentioned this to you previously, but one of my girlfriend’s (quite posh) mates from the south west was in there the night the lad got stabbed. What’s really odd is that this is the second time that Konspiracy has featured in this thread. Yes Depeche Mode were absolutely mad for the gear, but were playing in much bigger venues than this one by the ‘90s, so he wouldn’t have seen that first hand.Primal Scream classed themselves as lightweights compared to Depeche Mode when they toured together
I used to say about the Haç at the time that it was a great space, but the music was shit and it was full of cunts!Mad place that mate , Hacienda was for tourists , the dome and Konspiracy were off the scale.

Dome Gordon , not for the feint hearted! It had “rave 90, coming soon” graffitied on the entrance for years after it shut down. In a way i was grateful - that place was addictive , and frightening in equal measures.I used to say about the Haç at the time that it was a great space, but the music was shit and it was full of cunts!
It’s become the York away of the Manchester rave scene. Not sure if I mentioned this to you previously, but one of my girlfriend’s (quite posh) mates from the south west was in there the night the lad got stabbed.
Would have been 2022 when we had the conversation (when me and my girlfriend started going out) and the subject of clubbing came up amd she knew I was originally from Manchester so she asked me if I ever went to the Konspiracy to which I replied that I’d gone there a few times, including the night the lad got stabbed, which is the night she was there.
Conversation was over 30 years later in a pub in Gloucestershire!
