ThanksStefan, thanks for an excellent explanation of this very complex procedure.
One question, and I realise that you can only surmise.
Do you think that Masters and the rest of the PL knew just how difficult it would be to prove any guilt in such a complex case?
Personal experience wins the day.Crackheads use meths to come down off the stone.
Soon soon come.
I think it’s a mixture of stubborness and a failure to get on top of the subject. Masters at the HoC just floundered. I suspect he doesn’t do his homework. Thanks
Yes, I think they knew the challenges. I think the foolish Leicester appeal (and going further with APT on shareholder loans) signals either a stubbornness or a feeling that they have no choice to pursue things even if they have serious challenges to win.
Thanks

Well, we have the emails. Ho Ho.Masters relentless pursuit of City, driven by innuendo from the cartel clubs rather than concrete evidence, has exposed a deep organisational myopia, as it sacrificed credibility in an attempt to weaken City at the request of Arsenal, Spurs, Rags, and Dippers—ultimately proving to be existentially reckless, threatening the very integrity of the league itself.
A strong & competent board would have stopped it years ago. To continue still on this path shows just how immature the people operating at this level are.
If as most City fans believe, we are exonerated, with possibly some minor infringements ,non cooperation or similar, the sanctions should not take long ,surely.A long read on the inevitable questions about inevitable appeals. EXPLAINED: 115 - when, what and how? A guide to the inevitable appeals

If that is the case ,will there be any reciprocal sanctions for the P.L.,as it would be obvious,(to quote a posh mate) these charges are just a vexatious effort to keep City down.
PL know it is hard to win some of these cases but feel they have to pursue either due to stubbornness or a feeling that as regulator they should let an independent panel decide even flimsy cases.Sorry Stefan - can you reword said paragraph in basic terms..?
In the same vein, it would be nice to see some of Gills and Parrys furtive writings. The premier league are also meant to behave in good faith as are the other members? Would be interesting to find out what was in Masters Whatsapp messages and emails he was ordered to hand over!

I remain convinced that the owners only read the papers that framed all this as "caught red handed emails, CAS let off on technicalities" and have put huge amounts of pressure on the league to pursue this against the best interests of everyone involved really.Masters relentless pursuit of City, driven by innuendo from the cartel clubs rather than concrete evidence, has exposed a deep organisational myopia, as it sacrificed credibility in an attempt to weaken City at the request of Arsenal, Spurs, Rags, and Dippers—ultimately proving to be existentially reckless, threatening the very integrity of the league itself.

It signals they’re a set of absolute cunts. Thanks

I think the owners controlled the narrative in the papers to pressure the premier league to pursue.
I remember, in the past when we were seeing records broken and amazing title runs, we had just won something major.... Out of the blue one of the main reporters suddenly asking about potential PL charges (this was maybe a year and a half before they dropped).I’m not sure that’s true as the charges came largely out of the blue (excuse the pun)?
In fact, the process would have remained behind closed doors if the PL and City had won the court proceeding around public interest etc.
Makes it even better. Couldn't be less arsed. What ? still labelled as cheats ?.....red cartels aim all along
