PL charge City for alleged breaches of financial rules

Could something have happened to one of the 3 people on the case? What happens if one of them gets sick for a few months and cant relay their judgement? Would they wait or crack on with just the two left? Kinda feels like something must be holding it up.
I'm pretty sure (or as sure as anyone can be) that that would have been leaked, if not outright communicated.

Edit: there has to be 3 of them as an even number is not going to work if they disagree.

Would we not know if one of them were sick?

Based on the little I know, my understanding is that the outcome has been decided for a few months.

The PL have requested the delay in publication and my supposition is that they want the time to headhunt a new CEO, because Masters won't survive once the verdict is public.

Too good to be true.

Surely if the PL know the outcome then so do City, and if that's the case we would want any positive news on this out in the open at the first possible opportunity.
id say we would be willing to play nice with the EPL on this, kinda like we did not rubbing UEFAs face it when we were cleared there also...

Here we go again... whoo hoo hoo

I so hope this is right but I doubt it as there would have been a leak

The thing is Khaldoon has told us we are innocent and have irrefutable evidence to prove it, so he's not fussed one bit, imho, when the news breaks or when the appropriate time is to release it.
He's obviously not worried about it, there's been no rush from us to release any statements as behind closed doors all seems very calm.
If any party was the one to rush a statement out then that'll be the Premier League as we all know how much they hate losing face in things like this. The very fact they haven't released a statement or any news has leaked from them tells me it's all good in the hood for us.

Ok.... So let's go with the first part being right. You've then made a supposition, which could quite possibly be accurate.

Is there any possible reason you could think of why the PL would have won but still asked to delay publication?

I can't, but just wondering if you could think of anything.

I hope you are right and as PB said, we have always played the long game ever since we got fucked over by uefa ffp so i guess i shouldn't be suprised.

If we are sitting on the outcome for the benefit of the PL, then it has to mean there is no uncertainty at all in the judgement and we are 100% exonerated. We aren't stupid enough to do that if we are even held up on the smallest of charges. Khaldoon said we would be completely cleared of all charges, this if true from PB makes me a lot more confident.

I`ve thought this for a while as if indeed we have won then the fall out for the premier league is seismic? The whole world is waiting and watching for the outcome and maybe some of the evidence City have uncovered have some cartel bias or influence that Masters has been complicit in?

If your understanding is minimal, so are your assumptions. Furthermore, the appointment of an IR diminishes the significance of the PL CEO making their replacement easier.

Would that be around the time that Pep predicted the of the timing of a decision

And city have agreed to that and in the meantime our name still gets dragged through the mud. Either that’s bullshit or city are as daft as fuck

we simply have to reassure ourselves from what the club has said from day one, two words ''irrefutable evidence'', take stock of the meaning of those two words then ballance it against the clubs financial activities from when these ridiculous charges were made, 300 million on re developement, millions in the transfer windows, extended contract to Haaland, sorry not going to happen if we have the slightest doubt were going to get hammered, from day one the club would have been legaly advised as to where they stand and further briefed up after the hearing from Pannick as to any potential incoming charges, sit back, light a cigar, pour a glass and enjoy life, they can sit on it until the cows come home but still nothings going to happen

That's a lot of work?? I dont see how something like this could take so long. Put aside the repetition and it's just six or seven charges is it not?
To me its absurd that a sporting organisation has engineered a process that has taken years to decide if it should issue charges, many months to establish a tribunal, months to conduct a hearing and many months to reach a verdict. The whole thing stinks to high heaven.

We aren't getting muddier though. We're already muddy but we can see a nice hot bath waiting.

We've still got to work with these people (the PL and the other clubs), so I'm sure we're happy to do things nicely as long as the outcome is right.
