I think your opinion is right, and that unlike in the past, we have probably gone for the throat in these proceedings, having finally come to the conclusion that turning the other cheek just wasn’t working. I have twice been told of City having audio of conversations between VAR officials and TV, where comments were made indicating clear bias. Once against Southampton at home in lockdown, when Foden was clearly fouled in the box. The other being the ridiculous offside goal of Rashford at the swamp, when the ‘levelling up’ comment was allegedly used to justify letting the goal stand. If that is true, and I believe it was, then you have to wonder why City didn’t go in double footed at the time, perhaps because we were winning everything anyway. But I don’t think we will have shied away this time, and I’m sure Pannick will have been taking no prisoners.I have said it before so like an indigestion I will repeat myself. My view is that at the beginning the cartel and PL were the billy big bollocks thinking they could do anything regarding rules to keep themselves at the front of the trough. The APT case smashed that into little pieces. I have a feeling that if all the emails messages etc that City requested have been 'found' and handed over there could very well be some explosive material in there. Plus, I think City knew what they were looking for in these messages as they had already seen them before asking for them. My opinion, could be wrong though;-)

I'm more worried about the high line. You could have Usain Bolt as centre back and he wouldn't be able to turn and catch a speedy forward breaking to a long ball, which will be the go-to tactic this season for every team with at least one speedy forward.

CAS reduced the UEFA fine of E30M to E10M as, they somewhat agreed with City's complaint that confidential information was being leaked by the investigative chamber. But, as it was evident that City had in-fact not cooperated then they couldn't dismiss the charge altogether. They also noted the amount was based on City being a organization that had substantial financial resourcesSomething that I am sure has been asked, and answered before, but has just occurred to me:
Is there a scenario whereby we we are only found guilty of non co-operation but get stuck with the legal costs?
Did the CAS not fine us the 10 mil for non co-operation on the basis that we could have avoided the hearing by providing the requested evidence to UEFA (not withstanding our reasons for not doing so)?

I love the know it alls who smugly quote what we won without a left back, like that justifies being a top side and having to shoehorn players into filling a position. That’s poor. We won two title on the trot and the second without using a striker, did that mean we didn’t need Haaland? Idiots

Nunez will never be an elite full back but he improved hugely since his Derby Day disaster and he is good moving forward. He had a really good CWC as well. After the United game I would have driven him to the airport but let's see if he keeps getting better.Nunez tackles like a midfielder, which is alright at the half way line, giving away a cheap free kick,

We seemed to play deeper in the second half last night when we were 1-0 up so perhaps he has a cunning plan (like Baldrick). We won the treble by being more pragmatic so hopefully we can step up. We will pulverise a lot of teams this season with goals from all angles but in Europe we will have to be more cautious.I'm more worried about the high line.
