PL charge City for alleged breaches of financial rules

City bias aside, sometimes I have to remind myself that it’s bizarre that the PL are actually discouraging investment in its clubs.

I know the rules and the “reasons” behind them but, if you just take it as face value, there aren’t many industries that limit investment because some deals look too much.

Ten, maybe five, years ago I wouldn’t have believed it.
The PL wouldn't be the league it is now if these rules had been in place 10 years ago.

Are we sure that when people say "next international break," they mean "next international tournament"?

Is the Staff of Life still trading?
It is, I went on a Brewery trip to the Eagle Crag Brewery a couple of weeks ago.

We ended up in the Staff of life after the brewery trip as its only a quarter of a mile from the Staff Of Life pub.

It was a Friday night and most people were eating, however there wasn't a problem for us to just sit at the bar. The ale was very good, as was the ale in the Brewery.

It’s never going to be released.

The league has messed this right up and the scrutiny will likely be reverberated for a long time. Cry of corruption will be heard from the media to the stands.

No one wants that.

A nice “agreement” will be determined behind closed doors.

This fight should never have reached the back pages. It’s bad for all involved.

So wait all day, it won’t be published. Maybe one day a redacted version will expose the corruption but it won’t be this day.

Said form day one a deal will be made. Otherwise this would have been published months ago with one side getting a battering.

So...verdict is out on Monday?

The UK seems to have spent the last 10 years doing its best to destroy foreign investment. Utterly bizarre.

Given a UK court decided the fact that there is/was an investigation was in the public interest to be published, there is of course no chance any of what you say happening.

Remember it when it was the brewery tap for Robinwood Brewery about 30 years ago. They brewed a beer called Old Fart!

Is Eagle Crag at the same site where Robinwood used to be?
