PL charge City for alleged breaches of financial rules

Remember it when it was the brewery tap for Robinwood Brewery about 30 years ago. They brewed a beer called Old Fart!

Is Eagle Crag at the same site where Robinwood used to be?
I think so. Its on the right hand side of the main road heading into Tod from Burnley, about quarter of a mile passed the Staff of Life. On the series of bends by the viaduct in an old victorian mill, they open the bar to the public on the last friday in the month, it was really busy when we went.

No, I’m pretty sure the Robinwood Brewery was on the same side of the road as the Staff of Life towards Tod from Burnley (which I think is the opposite side from what you described).

Funny place Tod. It’s got an OL postcode but it’s in Yorkshire. A few decent boozers when I was last there, although that may have changed. And Harold Shipman was a GP there for several years.

Given a UK court decided the fact that there is/was an investigation was in the public interest to be published, there is of course no chance any of what you say happening.
They will do what they want. This whole up..uphold the law of the land nonsense doesn’t apply to clubs or the league. If they want it published it will be because…they want it published. If they don’t an agreement like the apt case will happen. Probably already has.

It’s ok to disagree. No matter what side you take, the erm disagreement serves no one.

The smears will linger and the job is complete. It’s not a complicated case once you stick to the facts. They have either found fraud or they havnt. The rest is billed by the min and should have been released months ago.

I think after commissioning a panel of Judges to come up with a verdict it will be impossible not to publish the result. The PL has made the most serious public allegations against City possible. It has damaged the reputation of the whole club as well as anyone who has done business with us over the period. The PL clubs themselves are entitled to know what has happened. I don't see how Masters and his pals could get away with it. They would be slaughtered by the media and fans of every single club. I can see a possible scenario where some sort of agreement is struck over any sanctions but not a deal over the substantial allegations.

Irrespective of whether the verdict is ready or not, I feel that they will kick the can down the road as far as possible. If the result is shared with the contesting parties and published now it will derail the season whichever way it goes. However if it gets published June time, just before the World Cup, there will be just as big of a hoohah, but people's attention will be very swiftly diverted once the tournament kicks off.....just a feeling ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

It is, I went on a Brewery trip to the Eagle Crag Brewery a couple of weeks ago.

We ended up in the Staff of life after the brewery trip as its only a quarter of a mile from the Staff Of Life pub.

It was a Friday night and most people were eating, however there wasn't a problem for us to just sit at the bar. The ale was very good, as was the ale in the Brewery.
I noticed Swansea has a player called Samuels-Smith. If only they could sign Tadcaster-Hales to partner him.

Todmorden's golden lion pub is an amazing music venue.

Tonight, jazzie b from soul II soul is deejaying.

Tomorrow, gilles peterson ffs.

It's even got its own record label.

The food is topnotch thai.
