PL charge City for alleged breaches of financial rules

Does anyone think it might be released in the next international break?
Not for me...said this a few times already, but my money is on the period between the end of season and the World Cup starting. Rationale is that it avoids derailing the ongoing season and whatever the level of media/public interest, it will quickly be put to one side when the World Cup matches start. I have a feeling that this would suit both parties, whatever the outcome

The question is before which World Cup. I’m going for 2038.

Whoever wins will let the cat out the bag, within a very short time!
only a draw will be when a date is picked.

I wonder if, in part, the time taken is because the people making the decision know their verdict will be read by many more people than ever before?

The last thing they would want is their verdict being torn apart by their peers. You would want every “i” dotted.

Possibly, but this hinges, first and foremost, on them knowing the outcome. Besides, our core business is playing and winning football matches, not winning court cases. Even if we are good at winning in court, I'm sure our owners would much rather be known for success on the pitch. For the PL, it's about building and running a successful competition. However we arrived at this point, I feel that both City and the PL would prefer to refocus on their core jobs and see the issue resolved with minimal disruption and minimal enduring noise....of course keeping it under wraps will need both parties to have goodwill towards, to talk to, to reason with, to cooperate with, to trust each other and to not be bursting to get their own message out first, so you may well be right.

I'm sure the correct version of their thoughts need to be presented but proof reading seems to be done quite quickly where books are concerned.

Is this stage of the verdict the real reason for such a long delay?

I'm hearing that none of them know the difference between 'there', 'their' and 'they're', and that they have written 'could of' instead of 'could have' 475 times.
