PL charge City for alleged breaches of financial rules

I've not checked out this thread for a while, it seems to have discovered an entirely different language. Which is great but Ive got no idea what anyone is talking about in the last page or two.

Did we win?

Not simple to answer I'm afraid. But perhaps if you were to apply the formula a² + b² = c², where a = 85 and b = 77.46, you will probably be as close as anyone else has got so far.

Ten pages we could have dedicated to Ted R and Corned Beef

Harris is mentally unstable and hates us with a passion. He'll say anything outrageous about us to keep himself relevant.

BTW that's an amazing username!! Used to love those books as a kid
It's definitely attention grabbing stuff.

Glad you like the username it brings together 2 things that have given me enjoyment in times gone by; watching (the other) Kevin play and reading fantasy books

I was talking about their opinions on the law and on legal process to which we should always listen. But I can't think of one who has stated an outcome to this case with any certainty. I wouldn't expect any different, though, - lawyers seldom give a definitive answer on outcomes for the reason you stated.

Oh, and accountancy is much more than maths but I won't take it personally :)
Its particularly hard to predict the outcome if you have not heard all the evidence, which I suggest is everybody on this thread. The fact that one person has already found against us means it is entirely possible 2 more could convict us this time. Personally I think we will come out of this hurting, but not too badly, and the ship will sail on to greater glory.

Seems I missed a trick passing on archeology;-)
By the way is a scotch cow like a scotch egg or is it something like the scottish 'girls' I used to meet late on Saturday night in Glasgow;-)
Female archeologists are well known for enjoying a good dig and sharing their finds.

A scotch cow is only worth considering if it is single, at least 18 years old and heavily peated

Hmmm 'scotch cow'...

"Scottish" is the correct adjective to use for people and things from Scotland, while "Scotch" is now primarily used for specific products like Scotch whisky and Scotch beef, and using it for people can be considered offensive. People from Scotland are called "Scots" (noun) or "Scottish" (adjective).

Scottish
  • Adjective for people: Use "Scottish" when referring to people from Scotland (e.g., "a Scottish person," "Scottish culture").

  • Adjective for things: Use "Scottish" for most things (e.g., "Scottish law," "Scottish history").
Scotch
    • Adjective for specific products: Use "Scotch" for legally protected products originating from Scotland, such as:
        • Scotch whisky
        • Scotch beef
        • Scotch broth
        • Scotch tape

So is a cow a product or a thing?
