PL charge City for alleged breaches of financial rules

Hmm, sorta.
New Mexico wasn't a state until 1912, but New Mexico as a name existed before that (since early 16th Century), applying to that general area.

Mexico the country gained independence from Spain in 1821, but the name derives from the local name for the central area of the Aztec empire, way, way before that.

Since the name for the area of New Mexico was named after the original Mexico, and didn't exist as a state until well after Mexico became a country, I would say the claim is highly dubious.

Still, It must be a sign of some sort!!

Only in broad strokes though? Even the actual number of charges seem to be in dispute. Admittedly it's been that long that I might have forgotten a more indepth look at the actual charges.
Maybe we should just start all over again as a lot of the argument and analysis has been forgotten at this stage. You never know we might have a decision by the time we get through it all for a second time.

So this is still up for debate?

One thing is certain though, the English use of "Barm" predates "Muffin" by 500 years.

I did no research of my own, I simply watched TV last night and it was stated as fact in an old episode of QI. I assume they do some research but don't know how much. Like I said in the original post, just passing on what I'd heard, don't shoot, I'm just the messenger. :)

At risk of overthinking, anyone concerned about Pep’s conference today? Lasted just two minutes and very blunt.

Reading between the lines, something definitely not right. Hopefully not 115!
Can I just ask you, had the press conference been unusually long would that be a sign we had won “115”? Or maybe the 2 events are completely unconnected?

Just wanted to update the thread.

My civil case was settled today out of court in me and my sons favour. Just shy of a 3 year process. Can't go into details but after speaking to my solicitor I was shocked at some of the stuff he was telling me.
Anyway. Lets hope City beat the charges.

Good for you. One down, one to go. Hope you got your costs back.

Reading between the lines is a form of interpolation, what you are saying definitely feels like extrapolation, which is considered to be a more uncertain approach. I personally didn't read anything into it.

Just when I am coming to the conclusion that Bluemoon is an intellectually vacant echo chamber (actually, the whole of football as well, for that matter), I see a post like this that restores my faith in the wonderful absurdity of it all. Well done, sir. You made an old man very happy.

Looks like the first and only post of yesterday.
Spoilt the first clean sheet since 6th February 2023?
