I think jason denayer is not home grown player as he was loaned to galatasaray instead of british club
That surely can't be right. Why would you loan a player to a foreign side if it screwed his homegrown status?
Denayer is u21 (well he was at the start of 2016) so his homegrown status isn't relevant at present. I was under the impression he'd never actually class as home grown as he needs 3 full years at City before he turns 21, and he joined City in July 2013 and turned 21 in June 2016, so he falls short by approx. 1 month.

I did mean Jesus rather than Moreno and Denayer is homegrown and U21 this season so he's ok as well.
I thought the PL rule was that any u21 had to have been registered with us for 2 years but I'm wrong on that as it's any u21.
So that means Iheanacho, Zinchenko (and Jesus) won't count in the PL squad. Therefore we've only got to drop 2 foreign players from that group meaning we only need to get rid of 2 others.

If they sell Denayer they surely have to bring in another English/home trained player dont they? It seems to be a game of chicken, Pep doesnt seem to rate Jason and Jason and his team have to know the benefit of him being homegrown in their push for playing time or an exit. How would promoting Gunn or Tosin to the 1st team factor in?
