Plastic Bags

got a baguette for my dinner yesterday and had to stick it in my trouser pocket, rather walk round looking like i had a lob on than pay for a bag

They charge for bags here in South Australia. I think it's 15cents or something. I never buy them though, if I get caught I just use my accent and say I'm on holiday and didn't realise I had to buy them. Guess I can't do that anymore :(
Cheapskate. Don't avoid it just pay it. 15 cents is about 7 pence you tight fisted fucker ;-)

My mum is sitting on a goldmine, the cupboard in her kitchen full of carrier bags must be worth at least 40 grand now.

dont see what all the fuss is about, take bags back with you or buy its only 20p for 4 bags not going to skint you is it its 5p ffs.

Its been happening in Wales for a couple of years. You get used to it quickly because what happens is you will end up with a cupboard full of placcy bags that will do your head in. Get in the habit of leaving a few in the boot of the car for when you call in to the supermarket or shops on your way home or when out and about. As for the baguette shop post above, thats bollocks, they shouldnt have charged you for that. Arent they paper bags for butties?

No difference to me, I always use a sturdy rucksack for my shopping.
