Platini Warns City

Just thought of a way round this bollocks, is it possible that the sheikh could buy a share in one of his companies in City's name, then float the shares on the stock market, could be a good way to get some income into the club ? Any accountants on here know whether its possible ?

hasn't this agenda driven cheese eating surrender monkey heard about adug's commitment to invest in the club's future and the local community on an unprecedented scale? they're here for the long term you fucking idiot.

As we all know, our owners are not stupid and they are not leaving anytime soon.

Let Platini say what he wants whilst we go about our business like we always have. Then people wonder why we don't particularly like the French.

I'm no accountant but believe this is where we will end up eventually.

United have explored the Far East flotation, but conditions don't allow them at this time to raise the type of money they need.

There would be nothing to stop Sheikh Mansour floating on the U.A.E market and raising the best part of £600m-£1bn.

An invitational option open to some like-minded friends.

The money raised would be classed as income?

I can never understand this argument about us needing saving. It's the sport that thauthorities should be concerned with not the existence of old clubs. If we go out of business and are no more - life goes on. We either pick another team to support or just give up on football or sport in general. So what? Its more important that the game is fair ( technology could help there ) and that while clubs are in existence that they can pay their employees and debts. Once there's enough money to cover the current ommigtments who cares about the rest.

And if they want fairness then put a salary cap and grander limit in place that I'd even for every club in the world. Or if you want grade it based on tier of football the league is in.

The current fffp rules are a joke. Platini is a fool.
