At a push Aguero but there's been very few consistent performers in this weak title defence.

Maybe a medal for bravery above and beyond the call of duty, but not PotS.

Only Aguero for me. I seem to remember him scoring vital goals for fun before he got injured.

There have been patches of brilliance from Sergio, where he was not only the best player at City but also the best player in the country, however due to injury and then playing alongside a bunch of idiots for the past two months he hasn't been able to sustain his form.

This just leaves Silva for me, he is the only player in our side who has able to consistently play at a high standard all season. He is the best player on the pitch most games and its criminal how he is consistently overlooked by the "experts".

For the last few seasons we've not had a standout player.

Players have performed well and then got injured (Aguero, Negrado, Kompany, Silva) but others have then carried on the form.

This season Aguero was on fire prior to the Everton game but has not performed since coming back. Silva has had his most successful season in terms of goals but has faded recently.

The constant rotation at the back has meant no-one has had that 10 game run of being exceptional, similarly in midfield.

For me Silva probably gets it by default of being the only player to make a case for winning it.
