As a Blue, I wouldn’t argue too strongly against this. Kev has had a phenomenal season too and I’d have him in my side over Salah. Over the longer run, KDB is the bigger asset.

But goals do talk loudly and I wouldn’t begrudge Salah the award.

If he wins it, he wins it the lad has had a great season, and I also wouldn't begrudge him.

Think knobs like aldrige spouting shite about him being at messi level skewers his achievement this season, let the lad be praised, but he could score only 11 goals next year for all we know.

Just because he has scored the most goals it doesn’t make Salah player of the season , there is an award for top scorer which he should win, player of the season should be based on all round contribution .

It really comes down to who's the hot topic whenever they took the vote. I don't know when they did it but if it was before March then De Bruyne would be the far more likely. Had Kane scored a couple of back to back hattricks around voting time he would've been a strong contender too. That's how it works.

A few months ago De Bruyne was nailed on. Now the league is virtually won and we rarely get out of second gear. Also Salah has just scored 4 goals in a match so he’s #1.

Don’t care who wins it tbh it’s a nothing award. I don’t even remember who won the last 3 let’s say, because it’s irrelevant, I do remember who won the last 3 Premier League titles though!!!

Maybe even better that Salah wins it so that he will be more attractive to Real Madrid.
