Hart - 6: Could have done better with the goal. When the ball in his 6 yard area he need to take control.
Richards - 7: Full of enterprise, but he needed to take responsibility for that Gusev chap a bit more. Still our 1st choice RB
Kompany- 6: Not fully fit. Got some important tackles, headers and interceptions in, but will be disappointed with both goals.
Lescott - 6: See Kompany points. More assured though IMO.
Kolarov - 6: Early enterprising runs and crosses disappeared about 20 mins after his promising shot. Can't question his commitment and drive, but like Richards lost the over lapping man. Should have played in midfield and PabZab at LB.
Zabaleta - 6: He tries soo hard, and his frustration when he didn't get a corner when he tried so hard sent shivers down my spine. Good tackling and energy, but passing was a bit off tonight. But he wasn't a right mid-fielder. RM should have had PabZab at LB and Kolarov in mid-field.
Barry - 8.5: He gets a daft amount of stick on this forum, but for no good reason. Almost no-one has played more games (outfield than barry) and has passing stats of 85%. Same tonight. Some brilliant tackling and robust defending in our own area and was the metronome of our field. Had no one to pass to. He is RM mid-field general.
Silva - 5.5: Tonight just wasn't his night. Very well marked by Kiev.
Yaya - 5: He has struggled a bit in the last month. Games are thick and fast. I think he misses his defensive role, and looked uncomfortable under pressure from the kiev DM. I think getting Milner, MJ and De Jong back will give him more space and time.
Balotelli - 5: Enigma. Could have done without his drama, and no real end product today. But as with Wigan he made some very good runs, but never got the ball, and when he didn't want it he got it. Mancini will be dissappointed he didn't start Tevez tonight
Dzeko - 4: No question this guy will be brilliant after pre-season, but he won't be looking forward to watching the DVD of this game again.

Tevez - 5: Even after some quiet performances he should have started tonight. Fans think it. He thought it. Bet Mancini wishes he did too.
SWP - 5: Should have come on a lot earlier to run at relatively slow full-backs. No faith
