Re: Samir Nasri

Just seen him on sky and he stated United never won the four trophies at once and you could see the hunger in his eyes.

Another Mercenary who came for the money ;)

Nasri is now answering his critics for why he joined the revolution and he is showing how good he is.

Had the pressure and must have felt the disappointment of the fans last season with his performances but he has turned it around and now he has the support he fully deserves.

On one of the early interview after he signed with us ,he said " new Galacticos" really inspired him to joint city.
The was smart enough to realize the revolution then the rapist.

Dare i say it... even more technically gifted than Silva. And Silva's a master!

He's still well short of Silva for me. Silva's vision, movement and ability to create space is in a different league.

Nasri's probably a better finisher though. I'll give him that above Silva. But nothing else.
In a 1-2 nasri can move the ball quicker and get back to it

Nasri is also quicker and can go into space quicker than Spanish Dave he can also get into space quicker, Spanish Dave a better passer , better close control and never loses the ball

Re: Samir Nasri

Samir has been like a new signing this season, quite Superb. Long may he carry on with his new found confidence that appeared a little short last season.

Re: Samir Nasri

If he keeps this up, he could well win player of the season, but he has stiff competition from Negredo, Aguero and Fernandinho. Not really seen him have a duff game this season, while last season we only saw this form in patches, like against Newcastle, Norwich, but then got sent off! Thankfully he's reigned in his fiery streak and channelled it in a controlled way, and scoring a few goals in the process.

Can't have that Trev. Nasri is playing top class football, but Merlin is the better technician. Merlin is the best technical player in the prem.

Re: Samir Nasri

Last year I'd have took Mata over Nasri I think I've changed my mind :) Nasri is now becoming that player I thought we signed 2 years ago his performance at Spurs was a delight and he's full of confidence now (credit to Pellers) Keeps this up all year stays injury free and he'll only get better. He along with Kolarov are my most improved players this season in fact I'm actually starting to like Kolarov a lot :)

You did not have to change your mind. HE WAS ALWAYS A PLAYER WITH BETTER INDIVIDUAL POTENTIAL/SKILL THAN MATA. The only diference is that Mata was fully utilised in playing all important games ( in last 2 years ) and Nasri was rotated under Mancini. His good/bad performances could not made him automatic starter. And that was destroying him/his game. Because he always desired to be a starter as he was at Arsenal. No sweet talk or man managment crap. Sweet talk only " helped" a little. Similar ( Dzeko, Kolarov that year ). Pellegrini made him automatic starter and than everything had started to improve. Just sweet talking from Pellegrini would not help it. That have gave him that extra confidence he needed. Knowing his place is secured and he can concentrate on playing games. ( similar to Negredo now ). Silva, Fernandinho, Yaya AND Nasri is cemented starting four in all biggest games. Navas and Milner under this manager will be Nasris subs in all big games. This is the only reason he steped up, similar to Kolarov ( this year ). If Mancini would gave him such amount of PL/CL games as starter. Even without sweet talk. Nasri would step last year the same. Mancini gave him 2 games than threw him 2,3 games out of first team. As he did to many others, regardless of theirs form.

Very confident (:

Quality interview.
And yes, he has all reasons to be cocky, we will put the barcodes to the sword !

Excellent interview; I don't think he was cocky, just honest and confident.

On the comparison with Silva, Nasri is clever and gifted; Merlin is a bloody genius. Both are huge assets to City.
