Re: Samir Nasri

He'll never be the bravest in the challenge but he was disciplined and hard working when we did not have the ball.

When we had the ball, he barely put a foot wrong and made 8 key passes, which is exceptional: Silva averages 3.3 per game and he leads the league in that department.

Re: Samir Nasri

The run up to the third goal was pure Nasri. Took the ball and ran at pace down the left, kept possession, made himself available for the ball again, and then set it up on a plate.

Re: Samir Nasri

Sami was brilliant yesterday ,worked real hard off the ball too, looked knackered but still did not stop running..well played nasri..and is he injured or what?

Re: Samir Nasri

I've been a critic of Nasri as I feel he doesn't always deliver 100%. Last night he did ,so well done to him . Ironically he seemed more effective when yaya went off as mostly he just looks for yaya to pass to even if he's stood a yard from him..He had to be more creative himself when toure was off . Now do two more of the same please.

Weird isnt it, I feel thats more of a confidence issue than tactics. Like he knows what Yaya can do so relies on him, when he doesnt trust himself to be able to do it when we know he can.

Re: Samir Nasri

Really nervous and inconsistent , missed two clear cut chances , hope Monaco will take him .
