Assuming Silva is unavailable, Samir has to dig deep against Palace and shows some guts and determination. No more reverting to the hold up play and slowing our tempo down. He has to go for it.
I get the feeling that if Yaya plays it will make all the difference. He and Nasri work well together and they appear to be good mates on and off the pitch.

All been a bit powderpuff form Nasri when he's been on the ball of late. Never really looks like hurting the opposition. The only time he's interested me was when Jovetic came on the other day and their link up brought the best out of Samir

Nasri is at his best when he is given a free role and the team runs attacking play via him. If he is asked to do a disciplined job out wide it doesnt suit him. However his desire to stop, look up and go for the one - two is looking predictable.
Vey talented player whose work rate and coverage of the pitch usually goes unnoticed. However, he can be very difficult to fit into a formation.

Some of his best work was when Silva was out of the side. Then it becomes his role to play more direct, central and run at the opposition which are some of his strengths. He just doesn't quite do it out wide for me sometimes, he looks unsure whether he should cut in or act as a winger.
He has been much improved this season, he has the potential to play much better but he has been far from shit this season.

Thought he played great today! He set up first goal with defense splitting pass to Yaya. He started attack for third goal with a great move at halfway line and then a sprint all the way down to goal line.. then we worked it around a bit, it came back to him, and he nails it in the box for an assist. He also presses better than anyone on this team. After Yaya came off, he moved behind Dzeko and things became much more difficult for Everton.
I'm sick of the crap he has gotten lately. Been a brilliant player all year and desperate to win titles. Maybe not his best for a few weeks (like any other player on our team), but still one of the best of the season in my opinion.
