Re: Samir Nasri

He might be thriving now he has competition from Navas. He has been playing well since the back end of last season.

Big decisions coming up on Nasri now.

18 months to go on contract in January. Big big wages......

Las year it would have been sell but this year he has found form again and I would keep. Whether the club will pay those type of wages I'm not sure and he may not be willing to take a drop.

Wouldn't surprise me to see PSG pick him up in the summer on the cheap
He signed a five year deal when he joined us in 2010 iirc.

I've no axe to grind with the Mancini/Pellegrini thing but those saying its all down to Pellers are wrong

The penny dropped with Nasri when Mancini called him out in public, form began to improve at end of last season/post season in states

I'm not sure the change that went on in Nasri's head was down to Mancini (part of it seemed to be a conversation with Nasri's Dad) but the crucial change came in the latter stages of last season.

Pellegrini is reaping the rewards of a player whose head is now in the right place and hopefully is working with the player to make the most of his excellent technical ability.

Re: Samir Nasri

Well done Nasri this season you've proved me wrong,I'd have sold him in the summer as I'd had enough of him. Just goes to show I know fuck all about football, I'll stick to getting pissed, something I do know a lot about.

Re: Samir Nasri

I apologise.

I was one of those saying that playing both Nasri and Silva in the same team would never work.

Thought he was great again yesterday. Just wish The Engineer would stop making him his go to man for a substitution. Let him play the full 90

Which makes 18 months right unless my maths is way out, it's January 2014 coming up ;)

It's great to see Nasri confounding his critics. Top quality player.

II'm the same, and I'm more than happy to eat my words on it. I had him down as a lazy player, who often went missing when the game got tough, but he's been consistently good in recent weeks. I thought his movement in particular yesterday was second to nobody, and it created huge holes in Norwich.

I agree, and I was one of them, I hope it stays that way.
