He will blossom this year. He is one of our most important pieces. Silva, alone, is not enough creativity. I might argue that we need either another playmaker or true winger. Well see.

Looks like he was trying to send Pellegrini a message about his position today....

I don't care what they say, a person of his ability should do way more than he showed regardless of position.

Has the potential to be better than Silva through the middle imo.

Play Nasri through the centre and he will get more assists than Silva and score a hell of a lot more.

I love Silva to bits but the man seems afraid to shoot on sight and always look to go the second step.

Maybe Pellegrini can coach him to just have a go either trying a through ball or a shot because he has it in his locker.

Sorry if this has been covered elsewhere but does anyone know why he was booed/jeered at. every time he touched the ball today ?

It's like groundhog day watching him play on the left. Cut inside, cut outside, cut inside, cut outside, 9 times out of ten settle for the cut inside and pass.

Even if he starts on the left I'd like to see him spend more time in the centre - but not anywhere near the our CBs

I'm afraid some of you lot appear to be letting your hearts rule your heads about nasri. Same old flatter to deceive liability today. I swear at one point in the second half when he played his 49th negative, backwards pass it was a lot harder to go back to his back four than to release one of the breaking forwards. But it's so ingrained he did it anyway.

I said earlier in the thread I hope he proves me wrong this season, but I don't believe he ever will.

Ex-Arsenal. Spurs played before us. While not a London crowd, I think there was a bandwagon effect.
