Re: Samir Nasri

You do know that there's a Nasri thread for your rant? <a class="postlink-local" href="http://forums.bluemoon-mcfc.co.uk/viewtopic.php?f=1&t=310233" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;">viewtopic.php?f=1&t=310233</a>

Unfortunately, inconsistency is the major flaw in Nasri's game, however, the fact it often happens against elite opponents is maybe more than coincidence.
In comparison to Barca's midfield,he looked second rate last night and there was very little to praise in his game, which, given recent displays, was very disappointing.

I'd have had him off before half time, not that he was the worst, just the best option to change and get Fernandhino on, as Milner could go there.

I don't think Pellegrini has it in him to make changes in response to the oppositions play,it seems, regardless of what is happening on the pitch.......substitutions aren't introduced until at least a pre determined time in the match.......its bizarre methodology......

It was apparent to most that the starting line up was wrong last night,at 0-2 it was as clear as day......and yet no changes were made,it was frustrating management to say the least.

Talks a good talk. Never delivers on the big stage.
Simply awful yesterday and City's worst player by far doing an excellent impression of a statue throughout the game.
Fully deserving of the first Shepherd's Crook of the evening.

He needs to believe in himself a lot more.

I think in the PL, Samir is up there with the best and so is confident. Put him with the big European boys and his ability is matched or bettered and he knows this, which is why maybe, he becomes the shrinking violet in these key games.

It was His performance against Roma that pretty much propelled us to the next round.
