Aleks suits our style hence why bobby and mp like him

He is also part of the defence that has been so good for years except mp's first season

He is what he is a all the grinding of teeth and whinging won't change him,he has all the medals to prove he is not shit

Clichy is yet to come back then it will be assessed where we are

I don't think Mancini was his greatest fan. He went and bought Clichy a year after we signed Kolorov and that season he played 12 times to Clichy's 28.

Personally I don't think either of them are great defensively.

Completely agree with this. I think we should ask whether we can play de bruyne and kolarov on the same side. Sagna is much stronger defensively thatn kolarov, but gets support from navas. But sagna offers less in an attacking sense. Kolarov looked much better with sterling ahead of him.

I can't think of many left backs who could come to City and improve us. I will miss this man when he finally goes.

Absolutely. He's been a good servant to the club over several years now, has captained the team with pride when asked to do so and, of course, has the medals to show for his efforts.

Was probably the best player on the pitch first half on Sunday. Navas edged him by the end for my MOTM but he was very good throughout. One over hit cross when he was in a great position aside he didn't do much wrong at all.

I don't agree with all the negative talk for Aleks. He has, for the most part, had a great season and we already knew he was more of an attacking fullback so those who are complaining about his defending, well, it's not news, so to say. He's also had no cover as Gael has been out for the entire season up to this point. I firmly believe once Clichy is back in the mix that we'll see better defending from Kolarov when he does play.
