i had no problem with him taking the pen, he's got a sweet left foot and strikes the ball as well as anyone, if he's on the pitch i don't mind him taking corners or free kicks, my problem is i don't rate him as a defender and don't care if people say he's good going forward, lets have a solid defence first of all and let the 300 odd million we've spent on attacking talent worry about going forward

But he is part of our attacking talent. You may have spotted our full backs don't stand and hold hands with our centre backs. We are better than that.

its all about opinions mate, for me our left back is classed as a defender and i don't think he's a very good defender, thats my opinion and always has been
